There is no way you can ever say Carry murdered the song it was easily the best vocals of the night.

Oh yes I caaan! I can say exactly what I like...

In my opinion, Carrie MURDERED the song. It isn't an easy song to do and Carrie would have been better leaving it alone.

NOT the best vocals of the night for me....that would have been Vonzell and Jessica

I thought Carrie sang really well - it gave me goosebumps! I do agree with you 100% on Vonzell, though! She was awesome, wasn't she? A possible darkhorse?

Thanks,

Actually, I take back what I said about Scott. I'm watching the re-run, and paying proper attention this time, and he's got a fantastic voice.

Yes, Steg! YOUR Vonzell did very, very well. Let's hope she's around for quite some time. Excellent performance from The Vonz

Yeah of course you can have that opinion i just thought it was a quite strong saying she "murdered" it.

Vonzell was good and best performance of the night but she wasn't the best vocal performer (sorry steg ) She is one to watch for sure.

Ah...but I did say it was from my perspective as a Heart fan and as someone who has heard Ann Wilson sing the song live...it is a very biased view and usually, I love Carrie.

Oh right now i can easily see where you are coming from and understand what you said. If i hear anyone sing a song from my favourite artist i dismiss it completely no matter how good it is

Finally saw it this evening.Thank goodness that talentless wannabee Mikalah has gone now.

I thought Jessica was superb although I couldn't figure out why she was crying when Mikalah was booted off.Surely that's one fewer competitor for her.I really don't buy the tears at all.I saw Carrie was crying too.

As for Scott.........there is something 'not right' about him.I suspect that he is actually retarded. He can sing but there is definately something lacking there.

I thought exactly the same thing when I saw the show on Friday.

Last week I thought there was 'something' so I paid more attention this week. The judges were also rather 'kind' to him.Lets face it......he can sing but that's all that's there.

I really hadn't noticed it before but something he did this week just made me wonder.

If he was, it might explain how he has so much support in terms of voting, because as you say, he can sing but he doesn't really seem idol material - he's the least favourite on here!

Quite right. As for what you don't see in Carrie, could it be genuine personality? What I mean is, like many Americans of her background, she comes across as an actor. At least to those of us from other cultures. So who she is and what she really thinks is hidden behind the veil of who she's been brought up to be. Contrast that with Bo, a grown man who knows exactly who he is, and Nadia, who leaves us in no doubt that she's facing the world on her own terms.
