Has this ever happened in a soap before?

She wasn't the best when she was alive. She looked ill or was hugging herself with cold or something most of the time. It's quite amusing that such a rubbish character has caused so much guessing and discussion.

^Thing is Danielle's death was a huge shocker and a devastating moment right after Ronnie realises that is her daughter. Plus it was unannounced.
With Lucy it was planned beforehand and made pretty public. Moreover the character hasn't been portrayed in a sympathetic light. Although she became a very good businesswoman and took care of everything when Ian went AWOL, she was a deeply unpleasant character who was often rude and arrogant. Whitney can attest to that. Danielle on the other hand was much kinder. |

Imagine the reaction and hype if this was Ian, we were talking about.
![]() A genuine classic character, played by someone who can actually act .
