three s5
Bought my galaxy s5 over a year ago from mobile.co.uk. the mobile is looked to the three network.
Can I get this unlooked free from three or do I have to get in touch with mobiles.co.UK. Thanks |

It would still be Three that unlock it.
Try ringing them again and see if you can escalate it. Mobiles.co.uk won't unlock the phone for you. |

Are you 100% sure it's locked to Three? Have you tried another sim from another network?
mobiles.co.uk usually sell unlocked. At least they did when I got an S4 from them. |

I thought that all Three phones were unlocked? I'm pretty sure I was told that all Three phones purchased from 2014 onwards are unlocked.

I know that three will not charge you for the unlock but if needed you can use:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...unit.galaxy_s5 I used it on my locked to EE S5 with no issues. Good support from the developer too. (He Mailed me to make sure everything was OK as I cancelled the unlock process first time - My error not his). |

You've tried another SIM in it? Because artnada is right... Quote:

mobiles.co.uk usually sell unlocked. At least they did when I got an S4 from them. It makes no sense that they would have locked stock of a handset CPW have never sold locked - especially locked to a network CPW (and, subsequently mobiles.co.uk) haven't done business with since before the S5 was launched. Quote:
The OP bought it via a third party. Not Three direct.
If Three did indeed stop locking their handsets before the S5 launced, how would a third-party retailer end up with a Three-locked S5? If Three don't want them locked, Samsung are hardly going to produce Three-locked units exclusively for third-party retailers, are they? |
