Upgrade time
Had my faithful nexus 4 for a couple of years now but can upgrade from tomorrow. Was disappointed to find the new Nexus is 6inches which is far too big and expensive these days. Torn between keeping my current 4 or getting either a Sony z3 compact or an HTC One M8. Can get the Sony in Vodafones winter sale for £22.50 per month and the HTC for £26.50 pm from Carphone Warehouse.
Any opinions or advice? |

The best advice i can give is to buy the M8 from Vodafone for £289 and go sim free. Break the contract habit.

Think Im gonna go for the Z3 compact. The HTC is coming up for a year old and will be replaced soon whereas the Sony hasnt been out that long though I realise any phone will always soon be out of date.
Whats swung is I can get the Sony through Vodafone with my NHS discount so will get free handset, 600mins, unlimited texts and 500mb data which is plenty for me as I mainly use wifi for just £18 per month. |

A contract is NOT free handset though, whatever you tell yourself.

After owning phones like the Xperia S, Nexus 4, Nexus 5 and then buying the kids a 138 quid SIM free 2014 Moto G for Christmas they can go and kiss my fat arse, the Moto G will be my next phone.
Screen, build and performance are more than acceptable and if you drop it it isn't the end of the world. |

Z3 compact is only 4.6", a bit small in my opinion!
I'd do go for S5 or Note 4 |
