Hey, yes i have used them before and I currently have 3 family members using them. The data is truly unlimited but you must have minimum 50p credit for it to work off-bundle.

It's 3G only right?

deal breaker at the moment tbh.

May as well look at Lyca who offer 5GB of 4G and unlimited 2G data.

To be fair Three is 3G only for the vast majority, seen as they have decided not to bother rolling out a 4G network of any note

They have the same amount of population coverage as o2 and Vodafone?

And what does Three have to do with this? Now Mobile use EE I believe.

They seem reliable to me, not had any issues personally.

And yes - Now Mobile use EE's 2G & 3G network.

Our unlimited data offer is truly unlimited, but is only for personal use on your mobile phone, not for commercial or automated use, nor for using your phone as a modem to connect other devices such as laptops and tablets (tethering) and excludes roaming use, video calls and peer to peer. Where you appear to us to be using data for one of these purposes, we reserve the right to withdraw the unlimited offer, suspend or disconnect you.

A better deal than EE themselves as far as the unlimited data is concerned but of course there are very few (myself included) people who use more than say, 5GB just on a handset.
Great for those that do though.

At the moment while 3 still offer AYCE data on their All In One 15 (which I am covered until 4th or 5th of March) a switch to Now Mobile is not really necessary for me right now.

Now Mobile is a genuine network but the only negatives I can say about the MVNO is that they don't seem to state anywhere about having to keep a minimum 50p credit on your account for the data bundles to work, however you do get 10% free credit if you top-up online by card.

The other negative I have to say about them is calling their call centre by dialling from your Now Mobile handset seems to get cut off a lot and is almost impossible to get through to them, this may not be the case now as not had to call them.

Give them a ring and get them to check this out for you, it could be a system glitch and they will rectify it for you.

My SIM arrived today and I didn't realise until I re-read this thread that Now Mobile uses EE as opposed to Three.

The question is: if Now Mobile, an MVNO, can offer unlimited data, why can EE not?

People bluetooth tethering their giffgaff 3G sim card to their samsung smart tv, lap top or PC and streaming youtube at the highest HQ resolution that the giffgaff 3G sim could allow was what Giffgaff were allegedly warning their extreme heavy users were using when their usage exceeded x number of GB's.
