I'm sorry, but I really just don't get it?

Kylie going back on drugs could have had potential, but it was so boring, seeing her run back to that pub every couple of weeks, to 'bad boy' Callum...

The Christmas Day reveal was just a mess IMO... We were promised fireworks, and we got an embarrassing cat fight between cat fight, which was almost as bad as the overhyped 'Sensational' Carla/Tracy battle, which was basically just Carla throwing Tracy onto a load of boxes, before making up with her minutes later...

They tried to repeat this last night and it was just ridiculous! The flat scenes were silly, and it was a mess IMO! David went looking for Kylie, despite telling her to leave, it just makes no sense?

Now we're getting many stupid scenes between David and Callum, and their second 'fight' last night was just stupid...

Sean Ward is a good actor, but the character of Callum just isn't a villain! He's a drug dealing idiot, who reminds me of a school bully or something!

Now on Monday we'll have Max (Who's ADHD has magically vanished), disappearing, and David and Callum shouting meaningless threats at eachother...

I'm sorry, but this storyline is just silly! Anyone else agree?

It is a mess, The Platts are my favourite family but I find it hard to bite this storyline, I know it's a cover for Paula Lane maternity but I feel it could of been so much better, we had weeks of build up for her to just disappear, I assume this will be the last we see of her till May.

As for Callum I'm still on the fence about him, his acting can be really hammy at times

She's had her baby (a boy) so she may be back fairly soon. Other soap actresses in the same position fairly recently have only taken about three months off.

Callum is dreadful. As others have said on DS he sometimes verges on the camp. About as scary as toenail clippings.

I like the fight scenes
They were realistic and it appeared quite naturally, though admittedly it seems as if they are making up the story as they go along

I agree it's a mess, seems really rushed imo. Surely they could have come up with something better for Paula's maternity leave.

It makes NO sense. I'm really finding it hard to watch Corrie, I tend to catch up with it but just have it on in the background, not taking much interest.

Their 'fights' have been silly. They should take a note out of Eastenders' book and do better fights. Callum is gorgeous and a good actor but he's too camp to be a villian. He, as you said, is like if he's a bully in school. Silly storyline, and why exactly is he staying on screen whilst Kylie won't be back up to a year? What are they going to do with him?

I actually sense a lot of sexual tension between Callum and David....it would be a nice twist if Callum has shacked up with David and his family by the time Kylie returns.

Yes. Yes. Yes. I loathe David. Everyone seems to forgive and forget what a rotten person he is. I'd love him to get a monumental comeuppance, something to wipe that sneer right off his face!

For some reason soaps want us to see rotten people get ahead while decent, hard workers struggle for everything.

We were promised fists and all sorts from David and Callum, and we got a push and a shove as usual... We were promised that Mick would go nuclear in EastEnders, and that's what we got, he trashed the pub, and battered Dean...

The Platt's are great, but don't forget Blackburn is the EP, and so it's no surprise this storyline is a mess...

I dread to think what he'll do to Sarah Lou, how longs it gonna be before she's being vile to everyone on the street, and how longs it gonna be until wild child Beth is up the duff, running away from home, and telling Norris she can see dead people?

Erm - it was David having trouble taking Max to his ADHD checkup at the medical centre which convinced him he had to try and get in touch with Kylie

I don't think he is remotely like Jez Quigley for the simple
reason that Lee Boardman who played Jez,can act,and can
if the script demands, appear to be 'Hard'. While the camp as
a row of tents Callum, cannot manage to do either of!

As far as I'm concerned, their feud has only just begun
David vows to get his revenge on Callum while spoilers suggests there are more fights to come

I am loving the story, it will soon become very messy and I wonder how David will cope when that happens( I wont say whats going to happen)

I didn't think Callum made a, um, bad fist of being menacing. He towered over David and had a glowering manner that did make you think he was capable of more. Given the restrictions on language and violence that a soap has to abide by - unless you're Eastenders, and thank god Corrie isn't - I don't think they did too badly.

David told Kylie to leave now he's griping about her not being there. Bad continuity.

I can't wait for their next fight! Perhaps Callum will push David into a bush...

The whole storyline has been absolutely pants. David just throwing out the mother of his child rather than trying to get her into rehab is total nonsense.

They are desperately trying to carry on the Kylie storyline without Kylie and it just isn't working.

She is the link between Callum and David and without her being there, the reason for the tension doesn't exist.
