I am really hoping so, probably too much to ask for 30 greatest episodes or something

They released 'The Last Tango in Walford' in 2010 for the 25th but hoping something a bit better this time

If they don't do any flashback episodes I would love to see something that pulls all the clues together and explains exactly what happened on Lucy's last night.

I think there'll be a 30 years of Eastenders history-book released instead, don't know why they don't have any classic episodes on DVDs.

They did a 50th anniversary DVD for Corrie so I see no reason why they wouldn't do the same for EastEnders...

I know episodes are on YouTube but a 'best episodes from the 80s-90s-00s' etc box set would be nice.

Sometimes the reasons for not doing DVD's is that, it can be very time consuming.. Plus there is alot of copyright issues with the music that is played in the background of scenes!!

I was hoping for a release too and made inquiries to the BBC, BBC Worldwide and BBC Shop on several occasions and each reply I received said no releases were planned

Corrie has had several big releases on DVD for past episodes and we have none for EastEnders. It is frustrating for fans who want a 'Best of' DVD Collection when you see the numerous Dr Who boxsets and various other BBC programmes!

The difference is Corrie is ITV and the DVD's come from Network, which seems to only release stuff from the ITV network..
