Will the UK follow the US? ARPU
There's a lot more but to quote;
"...carriers may also choose to preserve profit margins by sacrificing market share, losing the lower value consumers and keeping those who choose an operator not on price but for network quality, added value services or choice of devices..." So as I see it, if you're a low user don't expect any great deals, they don't want you. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/01...cs_now_urgent/ |

Already happening. EE is the premium brand.. Slowly killing off Orange & T-Mobile. Three killing off its AYCE and raising prices. Even to some extent the networks are doing this to MVNO's with O2 making costs for GiffGaff higher, EE making things difficult for Virgin by charging a lot more for wholesale data than they did a year ago etc etc.

It's unlimited tethering they're gettingbrid of and replacing it with a 4GB limit. |

Simply because it's not sustainable.
I didn't make any point about the reasons behind it. |

it will slowly be eroded.. Further changes we'll see shortly.
It could also be said that with traffic sense in place it's not been truly unlimited for some time anyways.. |

Have you got a source for that, or is it just a gut feeling?
