Banana ketchup or banana sauce
I have bought a bottle of this from an Asian supermarket and I know it is popular in the Philippines as a condiment having been born out of a lack of supply of tomatoes but an abundance of bananas.
Have you tried it? and what do you use it on? |

We brought some back from St Lucia. It can be used on anything you'd use ketchup on - burgers, hot dogs, chips etc. To be honest, we didn't like it much. Hope you think differently.

Banana ketchup? I'd like to try that but would it go with meat, though?

Scrambled eggs. Chips. Oh. And it was good as a dunk for pot stickers with a splash of soy sauce. (This was a spicy brand.)
