It actually is back in fashion, it's just a small minority that can't let their fake tans go!
like it or not most ppl prefer tans to pale skin |

Tans perhaps, but not fake tans, which automatically give out a signal of vanity and, quite honestly, chavity (if there is siuch a word).

Fake Tan can be fantastic, but you need to be willing to spend a bit of money to get a decent one. St Tropez, Fake Bake, Xen Tan, St Moritz etc...they're all crap and so amature. The only amazing one that ticks all the boxes is James Read. He does a few different types. His Sleep Mask Tan is the most popular I think...I use that for my face. For the body though, his Liquid Tan is incredible. No funny smell, not funny colour. It's also absolutely impossible to go streaky with it...if you use it and end up streaky then you're thick as a plank of wood!! It literally blends in with your skin tone and is so easy to apply. Doesn't transfer to your clothes or sheets either. James Read has become huge and does tanning for so many celebs now. The iiquid tan is available and light and medium. I get the medium and it's fanastic. Best tan ever. It's about £24 a bottle I think...bottle usually lasts me about 8 weeks.

Good God OP, you must be orange!
Fake tans look ridiculous. They look...well...fake and orange. Be brave and forget it. Your skin will appreciate it I'm sure. By the way, having a tan is not a sign of health....it's your body's reaction to a threat. |

I wear fake tan but honestly I'm getting sick of wearing the self tan/cream ones
TBH it's becoming such effort to have to self tan every morning, and some days I will miss parts or apply too much etc etc I just feel so much better whenever I get spray tans but I can't afford to get one EVERY week I did have a job in a bar but with A Levels coming up and all my mocks and stuff I had to quit as it was too time consuming and I'm worried another job will be too time consuming aswell http://www.diy.com/departments/ronse.../128066_BQ.prd One application and it lasts for 5 years |

You could always make a claim to the European Court of Human Rights. After all, it's a basic human requirement that every human being should be able to have a spray tan once a week. I'd write a letter to your local MP if I was you, or failing that. try the lead singer in Echo & The Bunnymen.

Hey OP. I was just wondering if you found a solution to your problem because I'd like to know.

Get two jobs and keep up with the studying.
Give up other luxuries. As other users have said here, you sound very vain aka insecure. I might be wrong though. Please do not resort to using sunbeds as they can cause skin cancer and horrific accidents have happened to the actual machine while the person has been in it. |

Oh and it's January. It's ok to be pale.
I think skin colour plays a factor to. Mixed race people can go from looking brown to very pale during summer and then autmun/winter. |

I agree. There ought to be a section dedicated to classic threads like this.
Who wouldn't want to look like this? http://news.images.itv.com/image/fil...stream_img.jpg Love these classic threads, there was one years ago with Baz or Barry someone writing about DIY colonic irrigation. It was the funniest thing I have ever read in my life, I could barely breathe through laughing so much. |
