Apparently some people think it's shut up: http://io9.com/supercut-proves-that-...201-1677402068

Personally I think as part of the bare stripped back Doctor Who, they just aren't giving him one as it goes against his darker serious character ?

"Shut up!" is more Clara's catchphrase than the doctor's. Her Lancashire accent changes the vowel sounds and makes it uniquely hers.

The way Capaldi pronounces "Clara" (as in "Claaraa!") is definitely memorable but I'd have to second "Question!" as Twelve's real catchphrase.

Its not as unique as "Care for a jelly baby?" or "Bow ties are cool!" and its not something he can shout going into battle like "Allons-y!" or "Geronimo!" but its better than the dull-as-dishwater "Fantastic!"

Clara walks away until The Doctor says sorry, a different kind of sorry, a sorry he hasn't known before.

I rather like "Question!" since it seems a bit more subtle than some of the other New Who catchphrases where the Doctor will just announce their line at the given chance. While I did enjoy them and found the mostly fun, I did feel as though there were times where the Doctor's lines are being written just to fit the phrase in some how.

"Question!" seems a bit more natural to me, since he usually says it while trying to figure something, following his own line of thinking, figuring out what answers it'll come up with.
