They have indeed JoJo. I dont particularly like anyone in there but it really has been a shambles of a BB for them.

And, out there <<<<<<<< if I see the phrase 'true colours' one more time I will not be responsible for my actions!!

Edit: Sorry. Good Morning everyone.

[quote=Hicky;78849156]They only owe the UK a few billion i think, but some like Germany and France are owed a fortune.

To ask for most of the debt to be written off with one hand and to ask to borrow more to pay some of the debts seems crazy.
Who on earth would lend them a bean now?

It is crazy isnt it? However, I was reading that Greece are the only country who did not receive war reparation from Germany after WW11 (or WW1 Ii think). If thats true then Germany has no right to lecture anyone.

seeing that the Nazis stole all the gold belonging to Greece "for the war effort" I think Greece is quite justified in wanting it back..

For those of you who watched BBBOTS:
Spoiler
Rylan has a VERY mean streak - how very cruel to ask Jack to cut up his beloved dressing gown. >:That dressing gown means the world to Jack, I think because it disguises his moobs. They could just as easily have asked him to not wear until the finals, although it must be pretty rank by now!

Liking glassesman's new shirt!

and another thought....

Chloe was a right little bitch to Jack! Sooo it is all about the money with her.. Never mind that Jack has already given up the car and some money too as I recall, and he wouldn't push the button first so that he could nominate her.

It's quite true - Germany had millions of poundsworth of debt written off after the 2nd world war - possibly even the 1st WW?? They did however look as though they were capable of building the country back and not needing to borrow more, which is the issue with Greece at the moment - not that it's fair on the ordinary people to punish them for a corrupt government.

How can anyone or any country pay off debt if they have no money - I'd like Ms Merkel to tell me????

Hi Minks Me too, he's making himself look like a little git which is a shame, and I can see why the other HMs are fed up with him.

I feel sorry for Jack - although wish with a passion that he'd take off the gown just occasionally! He's tried to do right by Chloe and now she's throwing it all back at him and not understanding when he tries to explain.

It strikes me that the full on cash involvement has energised Chloe more than most - not that there's anything wrong in wanting to win the cash, but she'd do better to just admit it, rather than skirt around it.

I also agree with linmic 'true colours' is an awful expression and is being thrown around out there >>>>> with gay abandon!

Looks like Marc went to the Duncan Smith school of CV writing.

Danny also seems to have spun a few yarns.”

I am a bit lost on this. What has he lied about and what is he actually qualified in?

Hopefully he will have learned from his time with Helen that no-one ever needs to be as nasty and hateful as she is, whatever they hope to achieve in life.

Moots, Harry reminds me of a Dementor, sucking the very soul out of the house.”

Mark clearly has a lot of good in him, he just seems compelled to be an idiot.

Banter is ok, but this isnt banter, its just attacking people.

Its a "few billion" that the poorest and most vulnerable members of society are suffering for the sake of.

When Mrs Merkel has explained it to you, perhaps she could have a word with the chancellor?

Good Afternoon Honey.:+))))))))))))

Glad it's come, i assume it's all set up and you are using it.

I admit we need the cash.
what i don't understand is, if they can't pay the massive bills they owe now, why would anyone lend them money to pay their bills, you would have to be crazy.
No bank would lend money to anyone that couldn't repay surely.

You would think not, but they do. The more people have difficulties repaying, the more money the banks make out of it through charges etc.
It is an evil business.

But they aren't going to get paid, Greece owes over 300 Billion, and they are broke.
Whatever you want to do, you aren't going to get paid.

Imagine the banks lending you money when they know they won't get it back.

This is an extreme case. Anyone who considers lending to Greece now wants locking up!

Yes, dementors are evil spirit like creatures who waft down and suck the will to live out of people. That's how Harry makes me feel and I only listen to her for 48 mins per day!

Ms Merkel has no chance of ever making me see it her way, no chance at all.

She's OK at the moment, very pragmatic approach to a situation that she can't change.

Yes that sounds just like Harry. Her body language fascinates me. When someone speaks to nick she puts herself inbetween them. My dogs are exactly the same.

I am glad Arte is ok. I was a bit worried for her.

I'll tell her if she doesn't pop in soon

Harry is a strange one and becoming more odd each day. She is a bit like an over protective dog with Nick, I imagine his mother is tearing her hair out and screaming at the TV!!

She must be a nightmare for them all to live with, she can go off at any minute whether concerning Nick or anyone else, and then just shouts 'la la la la la la' like a 6 year old when she runs out of something to say.

I took Nick's parents letter saying "Nikki is coming for tea" and no mention of Harry as code for "get the hell away from that girl"

Morning all - lovely day, sunshine and blue sky

Yes Honey you could be right - I haven't heard all the letters, or maybe I did and just switched off or dozed off! I'll go and find it.

You'd have to say encouraging stuff in such a letter wouldn't you, even if you were hating every minute!! Nick is still so young - maybe his parents know that he has plenty of time to put all this behind him, and to move house so that Harry will never find them
