Good on them, i say. Its harmless, gets publicity and a really good charity benefits.

Hicky went in for the op a bit later than expected, and I havent heard any news. Hopefully it all went well and hes having a good long sleep.

Gosh what a flipping exhausting day! Got sent to one place for a (urgent) blood test and lurched there on foot, but they only make appointments for another building apparently.
So i asked for an appointment.
No.
Even when you are STANDING THERE IN FRONT OF THEM they wont make the appointment for you unless you phone them.
She said...
"you can phone me now on your mobile" (by now I had a permanent snarl on my face)
I said..
Well what if i havent got a phone. Whats the procedure?
She said...
You can go home and email.
Me..
And if someone has no internet access?
Her...
Well you cant use the service.
Me...
Are you joking?
Her..
No. Its just tough luck!

So then we got a taxi to yet another clinic that has a walk in facility that nobody mentioned but i remembered from another time. It had no cafe so we were forced to lurch some more through the streets looking for a cafe to wait in until CL could pick us up. It all took five hours.
What a flipping palava!”

How ridiculous. Seems to be a system designed with inbuilt inefficiency.

Why doesn’t she have continental squat toilets installed then she could squat for everything.

I wonder if they are available here? Not that I would want one, but i must be possible to combine them with a shower?

They are.

Or you can use one of these to get the benefits. Still that wouldn’t allow Guinny to grab the headlines by saying something outrageous and promoting herself as a mucky cow.

Or even a child's step stool I suppose? I quite like the look of the one in the first link. It would fit in a tiny space without overwhelming it.

They should pay her whatever it takes to go on CBB. Who is interested in Daniella westbrook?

They have also made it impossible for someone to claim dole money (or whatever they call it now) unless they have a phone. They dont let you make the claim from the offices.
Also, when you are sent hospital appointments you have to confirm BY PHONE right away. (id have thought it easier and cheaper for people to just turn up when they are told to) but I havent tried to do this in person yet. ( I am tempted)

Does your sister drive, Moots? I hope you will both have a chance to see some sights.

I havent seen the list I best get looking. When Daniella Flippin Westbrook has been on The Wright Stuff she comes across well but what you see in the press is a contradiction so reality must be somewhere in the middle.

goes off to google list......

im waiting for Masterchef Celeb Final

Evening all. A few lines. Tablets aka Hudl2 are awful.
Op fine. All tubes out haven't slept yet. Hoping to tonight.
All being well. Depending on fluid retention I should be out tomorrow.

Thanks for all your good wishes. It means a lot.

I only found out it was on when Rylan mentioned it on this morning this morning. I thought I would give it a go only to find out its finishing! Oh well, it will be repeated for ever.

Morning all
Dull and grey outside but at least it's dry, warm would be nice but hopefully it'll warm up later on in the day. I've been to the butcher and have large quantities of cow I wish to barbecue later

Many of the families I deal with have Pay as You Go phones and almost never have any credit on them. They need the money to buy the credits, so they're going to be even more scuppered than they are already - it's madness.

Good Afternoon All.:+)))))))))))))))

All over, home at last.

It was a lovely Operation, i watched it on a screen as the man was doing it, he was talking to me all the way through.
I had a 1.5cm stone in the Bladder which they smashed while a watched with a type of crusher, after half an hour they started the operation, which i also watched every minute, probably for an hour, they even showed me what they had cut out from the stone and the prostrate, he would give me it all though.

Then a few hours in recovery with a flush going on which lasted maybe 24hrs, had a catheter half the size of a hosepipe, didn't know they made them that thick but the only way to get the operation debris out.

Now i have to train my Pelvic Floor Muscles to work again, could take a while.
But thats life i suppose, when i see all the others in the wards it makes me very thankful for my condition.
