I was pleased with it. I’ve been trying to get a weekly shot of him as he grows up and he looked pretty miserable last week with his URI (Upper Respiratory Infection) so i wanted one that showed how improved he was. I don’t think he’s 100% yet but close to it. The vet is at the end of the lane and this treatment is being dealt with under insurance (he came PetPlan cover for a month) so I’ll keep taking him in until he is totally recovered.

I’ve only seen them occasionally but if they come back regularly I will get another one. I can take the pictures from the sitting room window.

Hi Barra, they blend in well don't they?

The cats probably keep them at bay, not sure why because squirrels are far faster and can leap an awful long way, but i suppose they don't realise that.

I've seen cats chasing them but they haven't got a cat in hells chance.

Good morning you lot.

Lovely sunny morning though quite humid. Apparently temps will rise to about 26c in the London area by mid-afternoon. A little too warm for me but as I'm on leave from work today I won't complain too much.

Good Morning Everyone.:+))))))))))))))))

Not a fantastic day weatherwise.

Mixed all over the country, rain, cloud and sunny spells.
On the countdown to CBB, about 6 mornings left

That looks good. I am struggling to rally up enthusiasm for CBB, although I suppose I will enjoy it once its on.
I keep thinking Helen is going to be taking over from Marcus, or Emma, Or Rylan or something.

Hello all

Wouldn't it be just awful if they put Helen in CBB as a "celeb"?

We went to see some friends in Oxford yesterday. Going there was fine, but when we left, we joined a 50 mile tailback that took us ages to negotiate When the obstruction eventually cleared, the only causative factor visible was a young woman sitting in her car in the middle of the slow lane unable to move. I think her car must have run out of petrol, poor thing, as a lot of the time we were moving very slowly and consuming loads of petrol. There was a further minor obstruction ahead, which might have been the cause of the tail back etc, but I don't really know what happened.
We got home an hour later than scheduled

Does anyone know if plugging a satnav into a poota charges it? Presumably the poota needs to be switched on??

I havent been to Oxford for about twenty five years, but we are hoping to go soon. I hear much of it has been knocked down and turned into tescos etc?

I spent a week sprinting to the front door in case i missed my delivery of this...http://sholley.com/product/deluxe-pink/ Which is shocking magenta rather than the pale pink i was promised, but even so i was grateful for it even though it is smaller than the last, appears NOT to be able to be hung up (as advertised) and came with a crappy bit of cardboard (almost paper) to stiffen the base that didnt even fit.

I went waltzing around the shopping centre with it and had a brainstorm and got a sack of spuds, which meant the other bags had to balance on top and the (waterproof) lid wouldnt close
Elfy and me waited for CL to pick us up in an absolute deluge of rain and I was as wet as if I had chucked myself in the canal (i wanted to after half an hour of this) and got home to find an actual proper puddle in the trolley and a bit of papier mache that used to be the " base stiffener"

Good morning you lot.

The BBC weather people are forecasting 30c for north London today. That's far too hot for my liking but anyway. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Another damp start to the weekend for many.

Hello all

It is so NICE to live in a house with uncluttered rooms again, and to be able to access my books in the bookshelves!!

The moths seem to be at bay so to speak, too, but I am still washing everything in sight just in case.

We spent most of the time eating fish and chips in Marks's cafe. Everyone seems to be a lot deafer than they used to be, and arrrgh, nobody could hear much of what I was saying...
We saw one or two dreaming spires though.. The whole city centre is pedestrianised now.

Not looking good for the sholley, eh Honey. I would be very unstable pushing one of those, I'm afraid. I wouldn't be without my Chairmaster now, even if the only way I can pull it is with both hands behind my back...

Gosh thanks Elfy!!! Even though I no longer drive I think I might get a satnav, very useful if I have to go on a trip to a strange place and the taxi driver doesn't have one!

Hi there Hicky. Good morning everyone.

It's been dry here but we're expecting (much needed) rain this afternoon. Lovely sunshine this morning but no wind whatsoever.

You're welcome! That's a good idea! A lot of them (probably all now) do pedestrian modes as well.

Big hugs to everybody!

We went to Cheshire oaks outlet village today to get my annual boots, and it was chocker! Absolutely nowhere to park so CL was forced to park in sainsburys and eat sausage and mash, cake, and endless coffee in the cafe there while i traipsed around with the soggy trolley.
Even the flipping shoe box didnt fit into the damned thing. I feel like Gulliver. Its tiny.

More evidence of fiddling, and why full live feed is needed....https://www.list.co.uk/article/73972...y-big-brother/

Who is doing the sweep?
