The Launch of the Guest dancers meeting the Pro's was 3 weeks ago.

The couples dancing starts tonight at 9pm and tomorrow at 6.15 or so.

Well i got the first and the last right last night, though that wasnt difficult, was surprised that Bobby beat the couple, but Austin beating Natasha was always possible. Wasn't a great final and i don't think i will ever understand James popularity.

C5 have actually revealed the voting stats from last night, though despite what Tellymix are claiming they arent full - they appear to be from the first vote freeze as they show a 6 way split between all the finalists and there are no figs for the other freezes, and of course Emma said when it got down to the last two at the last freeze there was less then 2% in it! - so Austin must have picked up some support from the first 4 evictees supporters throughout the final, would have been nice to see the figs at each split especially what the final gap was between the last two. Anyway the most surprising thing from what has been revealed is how little support the lovebirds got - only just beat Sherrie!

The temperature in the garden this morning was 5C, only 15C expected later now, but the sun is out and thats always good.

Did you catch Strictly last night? It was lovely to have it back and such a great contrast to what's been on in that time slot these last few months.

It feels much hotter than that now. We have had an avalanche of pears falling off the tree. There are four or five binbagfulls and EVERY single pear smashed on the floor.
If you would like some (from tree not floor) give us a shout and we will drop some round. Its Neshi, like yours so you can use them like apples.

Well, it is unlikely that there will be slanging matches or punch ups, so it is very welcome after BB.

Thank you for hostessing the CBB and for my (second) prize. I confess I gave up watching almost before I started. I did see all the fuss about the spin-off fighting. It makes me feel very old ('you are old', I hear you cry) as I really can't see the point of such set-up confrontations and the inevitable swearing and posing and the sheer ugliness of the women. I thought of Wonkey Donkey who was a valiant supporter of Aisleyne, it would have tested her support, I fear. As for Chantelle, I wonder what life would have been like if she had never done BB, she is so very ordinary that an ordinary life might well have suited her better. I see, too, that Kerry Katona and Chanelle Hayes are looking identical in recent photos. Two other women who 'fame' hasn't helped....ah well.....I shall wander off except to comment that Mr Brain couldn't abide Carole Kirkwood or Brucie.........

It was a very short program, just 1 hour but it's on tonight, early as well so don't get caught out.


Hi Honey, i have just had about 1 a day falling off, mind you mines a Cordon but it was loaded. was advised to thin the clusters from 3 to 2, they are lovely and juicy, not a strong flavour but very refreshing, i still have loads on the tree as i don''t want to take them off except to eat because i don't think they keep too well.
They should be stored in the fridge i presume.

My MIL had a few days at relatives in Suffolk who have an orchard in their garden (field), she brought back 2 big bags of Bramley cookers, i made apple crumble, baked some and had to give a load to my neighbour.
