Hi Eddy and Hicky and Lurking Lurkers

It is pretty mild for this time of year not so? I haven't even unpacked my winter clothes yet...

eeeek I just nearly cleaned my teeth with Voltarol Gel

Just thought I would share that with you...

maybe they aren't putting on IAC this year?
Hi Moots.:+)))))))))))))))

Hate to think what you rubbed your toothpaste on.

IAC, found this:
I'm a Celebrity kicks off in November but ITV are keeping the start date very close to their chests so far.

It is mild for October, you can't really complain.

That Gel would have provided a very different teeth cleaning experience !

Evening guys - just popped in to say hello, so 'hello'

We've had some lovely days lately, although the changing of the clocks has made the afternoons seem much shorter.

I've been de-constructing pots and baskets - I still don't have the greenhouse I was promised huff huff so have found places indoors for the cuttings to over winter.

Hicky I'd love to see you zooming around the house on your motorised skateboard!!
Oh dear. I have no idea what de-constructing hanging baskets is. I bet its something to do with mine suffering a lingering death though.

Hello JoJo and all

I should be putting all my hostas to bed for the winter, but I just haven't had the time. They do much better if overwintered in the garage rather than outside.

I see the BBC is planning to inflict a whole series on us just showing wild animals hunting and killing other animals.

I guess this is a tiny step up from people enjoying watching wild animals killing humans in an arena 2000 years ago...
I used to enjoy wildlife programmes, until they introduced a strong content of animal-on-animal carnage. Now I don't dare watch in case I see some horrific sight of animals being disembowelled.

Who actually ENJOYS watching this sort of thing, and won't watching Jekyll and Hyde on ITV be enough for them?.

ABOLISH THE LICENCE FEE!!!!
I am willing to pay any amount of a fee that means I dont have to suffer adverts.

I hear Jekyll and hide was gruesome. Was it any good?

I got a tiny eucalyptus a few weeks ago and it is outside. Should I bring it in?

I don’t watch suffering animals on TV.
I am not a fan either. Of course it is all part of nature but there is no need for them to focus on it.
Hello all

sorry I sounded a bit like Victoria Meldrew last night.... I just know that when I was a kid, if I had seen the degree of gore, violenc and sex that is shoved in our faces today, I would be a gibbering wreck.

In my youth I read one Roald Dahl book (something about witches as I recall) and I was petrified and not in a good way at all. The story haunted me for months. I think it is rubbish saying that chldren love violence and gore.

the film of it is quite horrific.

It does seem quite warm again now. I like the chilly weather.

IAC is on this year.
Do we know who is on it yet?

I wouldn't watch that if you paid me, not even for £1000

I think it might be best to bring the eucalyptus inside if it is tiny..

Good morning you lot.

A bit gloomy out there but the sun appears to be fighting get through. Temps forecast to reach 15c in London today. Not bad for late in October.

Do we know who is on it yet?
Jason Gardiner's name is cropping up a lot (judge on that Torvill and Dean ice dancing show).

Apparently it launches on Sunday 15/11/15.

13C and raining here, should clear up soon.

Not a Jason Gardiner fan, he's rather nasty and loves himself too much.

Hello all

It will be interesting to see if Jason Gardiner can, er, cut the mustard in the jungle..

I seem to be currently on a roll with regard to Mootle Moments. What on earth made me pour the contents of a refill pack into a used coffee mug instead of a used coffee jar?? The mug was full before I realised what I was doing.

Shady Pines beckons enticingly.....

I can't stand Jason Gardiner. Needlessly nasty all the time on that programme.

As for Shady Pines, are you a fan of the Golden Girls?

Mind you, IAC can make or break you so maybe it would be interesting to see if he's as tough as he thinks.

Betty White (Rose) is still alive. The others have died.

The Golden Girls is one my all time favourite comedy series. I have all the series on DVD and never tire of watching them.

I like them too.Eddy. My favourite is Rose.

If my family is reading this, I would like a Golden girls box set like Eddy's for Christmas.

My all time sitcom fave is Modern Family. The comedy timing of the actors is incredible, and now they even have baby Joe saying a few words

Hi there Hicky. Good morning everyone.

Nuisance rain. I got a good soaking on my way to work. Hopefully it won't carry on like this all day. It is very mild, 16c.

Well the local forecast here shows the rain has stopped and restarts at 11pm tonight.

Hope so as we have people here rendering the outside walls of the bungalow and they can't work in the rain.

Good morning.

Hicky a while back I’m pretty sure you shared a link to some very reasonable garden sheds/summer houses. Could you post it again, please. My daughters ancients Wendy House, where we stored our deckchairs, is looking very unstable and needs replacing.

I have never seen that one. Is it still on?

Hicky, if it rains later on will it spoil the rendering?
