G'day Lurkers


I swear by squeaky mice (cats' toys) These seem to last forever, once I have cut off their rather sharp whiskers. They lose their squeak fairly early on, but a squeaky mouse seen clamped in another chi's tiny jaws is very much desired by the rest of them. Blossom Mootle insists on taking one to bed with her, just in case she can get one over the other chis..

I thought Big Brother sounded quite hopeful yesterday when he asked Perez if he REALLy wanted to go home.

What a really horrible show this is! I have just been catching up with it.....it occurs to me that it is the one programme on television that you would be ashamed to watch or be known to watch with/by your granny or grand-daughter. Yes, I do appreciate that it is past both their bedtimes. It comes to a sorry pass when Katie Hopkins and Calum Best look half-way human.

I cannot answer that, Moots. It is up there as one of the great mysteries of the universe....along with.....do the people who suddenly 'like' Katie Hopkins realise that she wouldn't cross the road to piss on them if they were on fire?.....does Calum Best have any emotional intelligence, apart from peevishness (ref, trainers and Daddy)?.......Patsy Kensit?.......why do people believe that housemates will 'suffer' after CBB if they behave in the house in the way they do in real life (Ken)......why are people surprised when Perez behaves like Perez?......whoever thought Nadia was going to be a sweet loveable pushover naice person?.......who is interested in Katie Price's retelling, over and over again, about how bad she was in bed that her husband had to ***g everyone in sight?..............so much more, Moots, so much more.......

I agree with everything except the bit about Katie Price.
I don't get all those 99p gossip mags she's in in the UK so just about everything she was saying is new to me. (new not news) besides I like her. She gets knocked down and she gets right back up.

Hello, Vesna........she doesn't really get knocked down, though...she lets herself be knocked down, she isn't a victim, just that modern creation of someone who makes a living out of largely self-inflicted personal dramas. But you are right in that it is perfectly possible to be baffled by what someone does but to like them nonetheless....I am a bit like that with the Lib Dems.....

Nooooo...... How could you, I have always thought of you as a wise far seeing sensible person whoes posts I agree with almost without exception but now I have to face the realisation that even you might be a little deranged in you thinking sometimes

you are being sarcastic surely, Bella? Although I agree that "naice" describes her well. The only one I actually like is Michelle. and Cheggers I guess, if only BB gave him more air time...

I would never consider her a victim. In fact that's probably what I like most about her, she doesn't go the victim route. She does some stupid things but she owns them. Not sure I can explain it very well.

I like that she keeps moving on, even if it's to the wrong zip code.

For instance anyone who told her she can sing and I mean at all, should be taken out and shot. (metaphorically speaking of course) What was she thinking? Does she have no ears? But she actually did go for it, even with her being totally tone deaf she still gave it a go.

Well, if someone has walked, ha ha, then i suppose we will get a replacement.

And to be honest any replacement can't be as bad as any that leave.

K.P. is a breath of fresh air compared to some of what started in the house.
K.P. is a very successful woman in many fields and she is probably rolling in dosh, that is the reason BB have probably had to pay a lot of money to get her, she's a seat filler, simple as.
She will bring tons of pictures, news lines, etc, BB can't lose.

I know. I have been asked to stand for the Lib Dems in May. I told my son and he said,' You've done some weird things in your time but voting Lib Dem would beat them all.' Anyway I had to say 'no' because I went to dinner with them and liked them enormously but came to the inevitable conclusion that 'being nice' but having no policies just wasn't quite enough....

I was also asked to stand for UKIP. I asked the bloke if he had ever read anything I have written. 'Oh yes,' he said. I asked to see their manifesto. I read it and said to the bloke 'It's uncanny. It perfectly reflects the exact opposite to my views.' Undeterred, the bloke said, 'Oh that doesn't matter, you have the look.' Appalled doesn't even cover it.

I think all parties are desperate for candidates.........

With regards to tonights show, i am in agreement with those fms who think BB is covering up something about Alex leaving, not showing his final visit to the DR was very odd imo
