I don't doubt that taste's yummy, but it is the strangest recipe i've ever seen.
I wonder who thought that one up?

Good morning.

Lovely morning here, quite chilly but lots of sunshine. It's the Greek Orthodox Easter weekend so a fun and busy family time for me. Looking forward to enjoying all our Easter treats, especially the delicious flaouna cake.
I thought of you earlier, Eddy. they had a do in the Greek Orthodox church near us today and it all looked lovely.
Good Morning Everyone.:+)))))))))))))

Hope you all have a good weekend.

Hi barra so sorry that Nikki got evicted, she was supposed to be the pawn, wonder what went wrong, haven't seen episode 26 yet, will watch later.
She has done very well, loved watching her.
I assume the pawn trick was a plan to get her out.

Hi Eddy.:+))))))))))))))

It's not too bad here either.
Have a lovely day, enjoy all your treats, and the cake sounds yummy.
Oh is it the American system with no public vote? Im not keen on that way, because i think the public should always have a say.

there are similar Scandinavian recipes. Apparently if you over-do the cherry stone it makes you woozy.

I see Farrah is as charming as ever. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...y-nothing.html

What does the "Ewe" bit mean? "Monkey sheep"???

I was a bit upset to see the pictures of David Gest's funeral. It gave the impression it was just his more recent friends and some hangers on.
Where were the Jacksons?

I felt the same way about Gest's funeral.

Did anyone see BGT tonight? If not it is worth checking out the repeat tomorrow.

Wow!! Vox Fortis - excellent, and also little Jasmine, but I don't see what Alysha and Ant needed to blub over.

Sometimes I despair of the Judges' grasp on reality:-

Vox Fortis (Latin for strong voice I think) a classical music boy band (To use the sort of terminology Simon and Co understand!) had an amazing blend of strong voices, including at least one perfect lyrical tenor. David Walliams obviously wasn't listening to the music, because he burbled on about "those deep voices". They weren't deep voices David, sweetie, they were strong voices. Wow, they were GOOD!!.

They were singing obviously as a band of soldiers affirming their solidarity as one unit and in their belief in eventual triumph over the enemy, with perfect diction, and also to Nimrod from Elgar's Variations, a song generally sung on solemn military occasions such as Remembrance Sunday (HINT, Simon Cowell), and yet Simon the Silly Stubble was concerned because "they didn't show their invidual natures". What was he expecting - Jazz hands and twerking?? HE obviously wasn't listening to the words, but there again he demonstrated a few shows ago that he hadn't a clue as to the difference between beefeaters and military guardsmen. Duh!!!

Good morning you lot.

Sunny here, 9c at present but apparently rising to 15c later. Just right for our Easter family barbecue.

A pinch and a punch for the first day of the month.

Yes Mootle, I totally agree about the Vox Fortis performance.

That’s a shame.
well done Nikki! She has been in there for a long time!
Very well done to Nikki.

Thankyou all, i made a bit of an error, she came 6th not 7th!

Yes Honey there is no public vote, the hms do it all, including the winner, which Nikki will be involved in choosing, so her work is not all done yet !

Hi Barra.:+)))))))))))))

Yes Nikki may be out of the house but she goes to the second house, the Jury house, she will stay there till the end, and i have a feeling she's going to enjoy it as well.
Yep, with it being a double eviction the Brothers made sure Nikki would go by putting Joel up as a pawn against a pawn, but they were always going to save Joel.

Wouldn't it be GREAT if BB's production team bought the rights to the Canadian BB and showed them maybe over a weekend? It would be very interesting to compare them with American BB and ours, I think!

Hi Moots.:+)))))))))))))))))

Good idea, BB Can is so different to ours, nothing like in fact, can't find 1 comparison really.
But all they seem to talk about is tactics, nominations, slop and alliances.

Good morning.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Mild here, 11c but cloudy and dull. Complete contrast to yesterday morning's sunshine (which lingered all day).

A rather wet and miserable Bank Holiday Monday.

hello Hicky

slop??
Hi Moots, yes Slop, it's called that as it is a rather soft form of porridge oats i suppose.
Not something you would want to spend a week eating.

Good morning.

Good Morning Eddy, it's not nice here, raining at the mo, hoping it will clear later.

slop??
Pigswill. Whizzed up mixture of food designed to taste awful. The equivalent of our basic budget and chick peas.

I found out that Nikki was put onto slop and I am absolutely disgusted.

Hi Moots, it's supposed to be nutritious and it doesn't need to be chewed, it is a punishment i suppose.

Hi Honey, yes, Nikki did a week, think it was a group thing, if the group lost then you are all on Slop for a week, she wasn't impressed.

I'm not surprised she made herself do it, because she is very determined, but they have got no right to risk the health of someone fighting a very serious illness. It is the same as depriving people with epilepsy, diabetes, or a heart condition of their medication.

Nikki was brave enough to write a very frank account of her condition and how she manages recovery.
I wish those people would bloody well read it!

I dont think I could either. Maybe if it was porridge with lots of cream and sugar?

A bit warmer today with some sun here, 12C anyway, some wind though which can get annoying unless it's warm.
