Carla Lane (writer of The Liver Birds, Bread and Butterflies) has passed away aged 87. She may have slipped out of the limelight and her later shows not been as successful but she sure made her mark with the above, i particularly liked Bread. RIP

Today would have been Marilyn Monroe's 90th Birthday !

I expect we would all have been fed up with her if she had lived? Poor old Brigitte Bardot gets slated all over the place for the crime of minding her own business and getting on with running an animal charity. (and the biggest crime of all, getting older)

I loved The Liver Birds and Butterflies, but couldn't get into Bread somehow..

I saw Rylan on "This Morning" announcing that he has nothing to announce.

I liked the early series of Bread, but I wasn't keen on the new Joey or Aveline.

I have only seen a few episodes of Liver birds and Butterflies. I suppose now is a stupid time to get the box sets on ebay?

Yes i agree, i liked the first series but didnt like when they had to recast some of the characters, the new ones were not as good

I am quite pleased, because it looks like the areas are clearly defined this time. I couldnt care less what it looks like, but i like to know which bit of the house they are in.

He is making a big mistake to present himself as being part of the production because unless a miracle happens and the series is good, it will reflect badly on him.
