Hi Moots, you are correct, the single figures are always eg: 7 = 7/1, the 7 being £7, your winnings if you put £1 on as a bet.
9/4 means you win £9 if you bet £4, of course you also get your money back that you put on.

I have just suffered asda for the sake of getting emergency hair dye and tried to buy a leopard print dressing gown while i was there.
Apparently it doesn't exist. and they have no record of it on the computers.
The conversation was going "no sorry, we have got nothing like it in stock" "but im holding it" "nope sorry, it doesn't exist" "look look here it is" " Nope. Never had one" etc etc.

Oh dear. Looking at the CBB "coming up" sequence and seeing that it is Perez Perez and more Perez makes me want to switch off.

Mine got extra time in exams and assistance in buying a computer (which we didn’t take them up on because the advisor wanted her to buy from a place which had inflated prices and we got the strong impression he got a backhander from them).

Mind i think he has a right to be upset about that Tweet, he didnt even know Nadia before the show so how could he have planned to use her? I bet whoever sent it, is feeling smug tonight!

That is good, especially the computer, and to be fair mine was offered extra time but refused it.
What would be handy for a lot of people would be being allowed to present the work in a different way, and to be able to show other methods of working out than the one prescribed by the teacher.

ETA just read about the computer Gemo - one of my HS families had the same issue and in trying to help, pointed out that you can get a computer to do the job for considerably less than the 'recommended' one/outlet. They do this allegedly to prevent people from taking the cash and spending it on something else, but it's always smelled fishy to me.

Perez showed just how much he despises females by referring to the, er, bodily parts of Michelle, Cami and Katie in a derogatory way. He must be getting desperate, as was also evinced by his profane appearance in the diary room. .

Goodmorning all. I think I have given up on Big Brother, it seems that the producers think all we want is row, upon argument, upon discord. They make sure to give the ammunition to promote it. It seems the the fun element is no longer what is wanted, it just is so depressing to see the hate filled content that now is BB. Maybe I am in the minority, but I think this series is the straw that broke the camel's back for me, so I cannot bear to watch it anymore.
Ok, rant over, just had to vent about the whole thing. Like many others here, I remember the fun side of BB...even with those we loved to hate

I was just watching Alicia on This Morning and she was saying they had lots of good times. When was this? All we have seen is fighting and misery apart from Perez's garden episode which has gone to his head.

I do like the housemates to be left alone. If somebody is bigoted or a fool, let them be one. Let them fight to the death for all I care, but not artificially produced.
Every task except for the revolting food one has been designed to provoke conflict and the producers don't seem to realise that we like to see differences resolved, people learning to work together and building friendships too.
If we see enough of the housemates to care, a well timed raised eyebrow has far more impact than all of Cami-Li's screeching and Perez's desperate over-acting.

Morning Win - I totally agree. I've said it before, since it's been with Ch5 all we see is caged animals poked with sticks, and it isn't what I signed up for. At the moment I'm still watching but that says more about me than it does about the programme
