Not for more than a quick burst to the shops. There is almost always someone in, you see, so they are just not used to it and it upsets them.

Today Elfy and me went to a little fifties festival in the park. It was lovely. Lots of people jiving and air-saxing.

Eviction Friday again.

It's probably bye bye to Laura, apart from a miracle, but i would like her to stay.

22C here but only sunny spells, it's lovely at the moment anyway.

Hope it's nice were you are, no rain expected in my neck of the woods.”

I cant imagine anyone voting Laura out while Jackson exists.

there is a whole generation of younger people who think that being good looking (however you choose to measure that) gives you a passport to everywhere They don't seem to have realised that looks don't last for ever and you need something else to fall back on when the phone stops ringing.

It looks as though Laura will go tonight, although Jackson doesn't seem very popular at the moment out there >>>>”

I think an awful lot of them have completely missed the bit about working hard, or even working at all.

His laugh, which I believe is false, is like a drilling in my brain.

I am a bit confused about what actually happened to Jane. Why/how was she sculling along with her eyes closed for a few seconds?

Is fish bowl the new name for punch bowl, or does the BB punch bowl just happen to look like a fishbowl?

These little things bother me.

Hi Moots, Jackson wanted to win the task so he had to knock her off the platform, how else could you knock her off.

Hi Honey, Jayne wasn't knocked out, you don't do actions like she was doing if your unconscious, she was sculling the water with her hands and keeping her mouth shut, he eyes were under control as well.
She is a good actress though, full marks.

Not nice worrying people and wasting hospital time though. (even if they pay for the doctors, I am sure nobody wants to waste long and hard training colluding with fakes. Its bloody rude. )

It was very strange, she said the spong hit her in the neck, not sure about that, it could have done, she did get a big shock, but she didn't pass out, what she was doing i have no idea.
If you pass out i'm sure you don't control your arms, legs, eyes, mouth or anything else.

I wondered the same - it's just a bowl in which to mix drinks, and I'd call it a punch bowl

I'm pleased to see on tonight's show that the HMs are refusing to be baited by the stupid question task - good for them.

I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but I kind of see what Laura means about Sam!

I've slated her for feeling so entitled, and I know that Sam had to choose someone, and I don't agree with her reasoning, but I do understand why she feels how she does.

Well, in slow motion it did look as if she was micro-smirking, and the sponge hit the helmet and her chin strap was nowhere near her throat, and she actually stood up in the pool, then swam along and her head was never under, but on the other hand....

I am prone to fainting and sometimes everything goes black and i have to sit down suddenly and feel nauseous, so i am vaguely aware, but everything is wooshing.
Other times I am down with a bang and out cold.
Maybe Jayne had the first type?

I havent actually ever used my punchbowl or gave it a thought in thirty odd years Its a crystal monstrosity with little cups dangling from it. I bet we have all got one in the attic?

I was FORCED to vote Laura multiple times.

And she certainly has worked hard for it like she said, if we include the shenanigans with Marco.
That was way beyond the call of duty!

Sam has made Laura and Andy feel worse by saying it was a mistake. So near yet so far.

I still think she's a silly wannabee, but to be fair to her, she was a big part of the narrative in this series. She didn't shy away from anything (or anyone!)

I still don't understand the Hughie Love?? What am I missing here - the cheers just now were huge

Yes I think we do all have one of those punch bowls with the little cups! I'm not sure I'd use one these days - when we have Pimms in any quantity we make it in a jug because you can cover it over when not pouring. There are so many little creatures around at the moment, I feel they would use it as a swimming pool

I cant believe Jackson is more popular than Jason.

Hughie was so convincing with his shouting act it has made me wonder if all the yelling is put on for effect and the real him is meek and good natured?

Well i am happy that Jason survived over Laura, she was very nasty about him in the public poll task the other week, picking him for every horrible thing... which the public did not and now she really knows who the public prefer!

Not happy about the double eviction on Sunday with no live show or Emma though (lines to freeze at 3pm - and reopen after Monday nights hls when it will be revealed who got booted - though seems Sam and Evelyn will probably be the bottom 2) To boot two out two days before the final without any ceremony is horrible !

Yes it is, but frankly, If it is Sam and Evelyn, I can do without the boredom of an interview.

I think this eviction nonsense on Sunday is shabby in the extreme - to let the remaining HMs think they're in the final and then kick them out with no fanfare is just cruel.

Whoever is running this show at the moment needs a slap.

Well yes, so could I Honey! However, even if it's Sam & Evelyn, they have given Ch5 7 weeks of almost free entertainment. They deserve better, even if you and I don't want to watch them!

She said she coul;dn't breathe. I know that some young children have something called Involuntary Breath Holding when they get a fright, and wonder if the same thing happened to Jayne. She wasn't unconscious, but she also wasn't breathing for a while and she went very pale.

I'm sorry, but I voted for her to leave at the start, and then added a few more votes when she carried on and on and ON about how she felt betrayed by Sam.

Hi Moots.:+))))))))))))))))

I see what you said about Jayne, don't buy it myself, she had her mouth shut to stop the water going in, she knew exactly what she was doing, she was keeping herself aflout moving her hands, she had her eyes shut to keep the water off, thats not what someone does if unconscious or fighting for breath. she didn't look in any danger to me, her legs didn't even sink, and thats hard to do.

They could have had a public save vote for Friday and evicted the bottom 3, this is awful getting rid of 2 Sunday with no Emma of Rylan, they will be on bots Monday but what a let down for them, i'm not saying an Emma interview with Sam and Evelyne would have been exciting as Sam must be the most boring HM ever, as Laura has said at times, he can't process information, which is a problem.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Totally agree. It all seems as if it's been botched together at that the last minute by failed Media studies students.

(Laura was spot on in her description of Sam. )

Hello all

Eddy you are so right! It dioes seem as if someone very inexperienced has been in charge this time, right from the selection of housemates from the zeleb-munus squared list. That wet sponge thing was actually quite dangerous I thought.

It seems crazy to get in this mess, the last few days and they are evicting peopleinto space, so to speak, the only people receiving them will be their parents or friends and a director, great, they will love that.

And Sam, nothing more to say, but how is he still in.

Hi Moots, they must have apprentices running the BB system this year.

I suppose sponges are better than bricks, it all depends how it hits you.
