Regarding Biggins' removal, I'm surprised at him for not listening to the earlier warning given to him BB. He's not stupid. Perhaps he just wanted to be kicked out.

I think, Biggins just went to far, he made numerous remarks which could upset certain groups of people.
I've read what Biggins said to Katie, he just doesn't think, he thought it was a funny remark to make but of course it could cause a lot of upset, although they won't be releasing what he did say on the show.

Sorry Honey, but I disagree re Biggins. He was expressing rampant bi-phobia, even after being warned not to. Admittedly this is not as devastating as homophobia, but it is still unacceptable.
Also unacceptable and offensive are jokes about the Holocaust, especially when made to someone who is Jewish.

I totally agree with you that many others should also have been kicked out, including Aubrey, Bear and Renee. Especially Aubrey!

Well he isnt denying what he said not that, that makes it any better. I am glad that BB are prepared to take action like this, i just wished they were a bit more consistent though as some hms seem to get away with a lot more then others!

That sequence of comments that Biggins made was going to cause a lot of response from the public watching, as well as the House mates so they couldn't let it go on when other members of the production team came to learn about it all.

It does, doesn't it? As does the fixed idea that you can be either gay or straight with no exceptions. I guess you could call it a bi-denial obsession , and blaming the spread of Aids to Europe on bisexuals remains a ridiculous and dangerous opinion, expressed (I thought) as a fact.
1984 was not a funny book was it? I hadn't heard of the holocaust connection, and can't quite see it - I thought the book was based on communism

Given that Biggins appears to be a huge fan of the show and is often involved in spin off stuff, you'd think he'd have an idea of what is or isn't, acceptable.

It sounds as though there were a lot of complaints from the LGBT community who may not have liked him to begin with, as he's an 'old style Queen'??

There are double standards here though, we've seen some outrageous behaviour in CBB and the ordinary one, which has had us screaming at the TV!

I don't think for a minute that Bear will be evicted tomorrow, the viewers will want to keep him there for 'entertainment' whatever that is these days

I imagine that Honey means the concept of the original series of BB was based on Orwell's book 'Big Brother is watching you'.

I don't understand Biggins making so many unacceptable comments.
His comments to Katie about the shower and small room was a strange thing to say, so strange even BB didn't air it and tried to cover it up but it got out which meant he had to leave.

And ........... he still continues to eat with his mouth open, shoving in another morsel while slagging some poor soul off

He so wanted to be the Jack the Lad of the house, the cheeky chappy who was given some leeway because 'he's so cute' - sadly he's just an idiot!

I wonder whether he thinks/thought that a gay man has license to say things a straight man can't say - like black people and the 'N' word???

To be honest, I've also read the theories that AIDS was manufactured and 'sent' to some third world countries - and I might well have recounted that in the company of other people?? I'm not sure I'd go on to suggest that the virus was spread by bisexuals though - or to insinuate that they just need to 'make up their minds'!

Biggins will be more in touch with what the LGBT community thinks about AIDS, bisexuals etc than I am, you'd think so anyway.
