hello all
![]() Finally on to DS but I can't log on to sky broadband, very very odd. ![]() We have made THREE trips to the tip with mootlejunk so far, and you can actually see some of the garage floor again. We discovered why someone else obviously didn't want the car we were given. It is only a 2 door, and one has to be an emaciated contortionist if one wants to get in the back ![]() ![]() ah well... We got more junk in by pulling down the back seat, or do I mean up, and it is quite a nice car otherwise. |

I would consider telling them to take a hike and get a car somewhere else if i was you. I bet the three trips could have been done in one go, if it was an estate? What on earth is going on with brexit? Didn't they know about the parliamentary doodah before the vote? It is more confusing than "The Missing" .

Good Morning Everyone.:+)))))))))))))) Quote:
Hi there Hicky, good evening everyone. :D
Reached 10c this afternoon but we had gorgeous sunshine. :) Anyone looking for Mootle? She's having problems with her PC. She can access and log onto most things on the net but not Digital Spy and one or two others. :( Quote:
Oh good. We could do with watching something cheerful after the misery fest that was CBB.
Oh I imagined she was just permanently out on the lash with her sister. :D ;-) I went off to deliver a training session tonight, and made my CL go and change his jumper in case we gave anyone a lift home after, telling him "I'm trying to give the impression I'm professional" My dreams of professionalism didnt last long. Approaching the building, I tripped over the dangling strap of my bag and a bunch of clients arrived to find me lying down in a puddle.:blush::blush: The things you do to get noticed, omg, hope you could get dry. What on earth is going on with brexit? Didn't they know about the parliamentary doodah before the vote? It is more confusing than "The Missing" . Those that lost in the Referendum don't like the result so they want to scupper the will of the people, they want the UK to be controlled by Germany France and anyone else that wants to tell us what to do. It is obvious that they want to show that the public are wrong. |

Hi Eddy, i was wondering, thought she was trapped in the small car. Hi Honey, yes, fed up with repeat programs, can't wait for IAC to start. The things you do to get noticed, omg, hope you could get dry. Hi Moots, You seem to have a PC with a mind of it's own, you aren't connected via China are you, they only allow certain channels. So you converted the car into a Skip? Hi Honey, Those that lost in the Referendum don't like the result so they want to scupper the will of the people, they want the UK to be controlled by Germany France and anyone else that wants to tell us what to do. We did alright in the seventies with BBC 1,2 and ITV, didnt we? |

I sat with a soggy sleeve for three hours. I wouldn't mind, but it was the ONLY puddle in the vicinity.
![]() I think I might prefer the three channels you get in China than the endless repeats and tripe. We did alright in the seventies with BBC 1,2 and ITV, didnt we? Yes, with all these channels i have to search dozens of channels every hour to see what's best, i have 110 recorded, we need 48 hr days, no that wouldn't help when you think about it. Quote:
Welcome back Moots ! Bet you felt like chucking the car on the tip !
![]() Yes i agree, the remainers are the worst bad losers you can imagine, they are clutching at any straws they can to get anything they can out of it. I hope that whenever the next general election is, those who voted to exit and whose mp voted to stay and/or against the government in any upcoming eu vote hurt them where it counts by voting for someone else ! If we wanted to be ruled by Germany we could have just lost the war and we would all be speaking German so would the French. And these idiots in parliament saying they want the government to tell them what they are going to do in the talks with Germany & France, are they stupid, to show you hand in public would be the most irresponsible thing you could do, like playing poker with your cards facing up. |

I never throw them in the waste bin though, they are so valuable for the compost heap to make leaf mold, mind you most take a year to break down. |

Evening guys - very cold here tonight, I'm not an autumn/winter woman!
Fireworks again tonight although to be fair they haven't been too bad this year. the cats ignore it all but Millie shakes and tries to squeeze herself into small spaces or on laps - she's a retriever in case it's so long since I mentioned her no-one knows who she is!! We were supposed to take another foster dog last Wednesday who is allegedly 'very nervous' to probably just as well she was elsewhere. I think a family member has taken her to see if they can manage her full time - owner is terminally ill ![]() Glad you're sorted Moots, technology-wise at least - I don't envy anyone having to fold themselves into a 2 door car. I was never very good when I was young and much more nimble and supple than I am now! I confess I've been chuckling Honey at the thought of you gracefully falling into the puddle - unkind I know, but it struck me as so funny Sod's law that you'd do it in that place on that occasion and in view of those people!

You're no on your own, very few women like the cold, not sure why they would anyway. It does kill some of the nasty bugs off, but it seems such a long time till the Spring again. I so love the Spring but have quite a lot of work to do in the garden before then. We had a very noisy night, it's strange, can't here the lovely sparkly ones just the bangers, i wonder if they could be stopped as they don't really do anything other than injure people and scare animals. It did seem funny at the time, Honey will be able to laugh at it one day, glad she didn't injure herself though., i can only assume a puddle gives a softer landing, or it could depending on the depth. |

There was a bonfire and fireworks in the village last night and we could see a lot of the prettier fireworks from upstairs windows. One of our grandsons was staying and we spent a good while looking out of the window, in the warmth of the house, which was nice.
It all happened over a 40 minute period so at least once it was over, that was it. I can sympathise with the leaf clearing - we're surrounded by trees and every day at the moment there is another carpet. OH clears them particularly if they're where we need to walk because they get very slippery. It's a never ending job

It feels so much warmer if there's hardly any wind. |

Good morning you lot.
![]() Getting colder, just 7c here this morning. Again, it's lovely and sunny but lots of rain forecast for later. Thankfully, there's no sign of snow in the London area ... not yet anyway.

Good Morning Everyone.:+))))))))))))) 6c here, rain cloud no snow, not much wind. The Polls screwed up again, don't they understand the info gained from those polling don't tell the truth. A shock for some in the USA, it just shows, don't underestimate the will of the people when they want change, they wanted a new chapter and they got it. Quote:
