Just read that Emma is quitting BOTS - her last one tonight, then its all Rylan. Its apparently to much for her with all her other shows. She is continuing with the main shows by the way, its just BOTS she's leaving. It seems Rylan will continue hosting BOTS solo in the summer but thats not confirmed yet.

My grand-daughter has moved from a small state school to a private school. Both are in the same area with the same catchment. The superiority of the private school teaching is a scandal. It is much more structured, memory based, result orientated...and more professional. With such a dramatic difference in an affluent area I dread to think what the disparity must be like nationally. I have a personal dislike of privilege through cash, and I would have thought that keeping bright children in the state system should benefit everyone, but it would mean that a child was severely disadvantaged educationally.......I am glad my children are nearly 50 and I don't have to concern myself with this conundrum.

So a letter from home was an abstract from If (Rudyard Kipling).
Maybe Calum's mum thought she would inject a little Kulture into the proceedings. She really shouldn't have passed the poem off as her own! *rolls eyes* |

The bright child becomes very bored and thus an educational opportunity is lost. At my state school we at least had streaming, but even so there were times when I was so bored that I used to spend the time drawing little ink dots on my blotting paper, or doodling - I was a docile child(!). It must be so much worse for the one education serves all generation.:
I remember the horror of "working in groups" for a Shakespeare play with some poor sod that could barely read. It put me off Shakespeare for ever. I don't know if the "poor sod" ever got to like it but he owns a chain of shopping centres now. ![]() Quote:

good morning
I think it about time they changed the name of Big Brother. There is absolutely no similarity between the present CBB show (or any recent BB) and BB8. Now they go out to have more hair weaves put in, a hairdresser comes in whenever, they can have a private room, there is access to computers so they can write their columns, a fake tanning machine is brought in, and goodness know what else. I couldn't even extract a promise that they would tell me if Mr Brain died. And as for poor Chanelle, they wouldn't mend a pair of cr*p boots she had taken into the house with the sole flapping off........it's all gone soft.

Morning all – I did google Angie Best and I didn’t find an anthology of her poetic works.
What I did find was that a Biopic – Best – was produced and Patsy Kensit played Angie. |

Lesley Brain Maybe the HM's can demand better conditions before they go in these days, they are a bit spoilt. But i think it's sad that they have to take clothes in for daily changes for every day they are in the house because washing machines and dryers aren't provided, how petty and unhygienic is that. I think it's a disgrace. Quote:

[quote] Ooh thats rather precise Moots! Do you know something we don't Interestingly the thread beneath this one (before i posted) was asking if she is pregnant, the OP said they saw a little bump? Can't say i noticed anything, but then i wouldnt i guess being a bloke! Most of the replies were saying No, due to her work schedule, including a new quiz taking place soon. We will just have to waiit and see if anything appears - i mean in the press, not in.... oh never mind! ![]() ![]()

I think due to the fact that most don't want to be seen washing their small in the sink or bath etc they store them all dirty.
No wonder people say the house stinks. Is there seven of them left? Was that the last eviction before Friday? It seems like too many people left. (one in particular )

Poor Emma had to keep stopping and apologising for the language!!! Was a bit much wasnt it? Well ok more than a bit !! and then she talks about slitting Perez throat !! What a gob she has on her !! Anyway now they are all up as its vote to win time with a double eviction on Wednesday, i think it could be Callum and Kav. 'bout time a male lost a vote - Do you realise so far every vote as seen a female evicted!?!? (the 3 males that left were either removed for rule breaking or walked) that old BB standby - the anti female voters rears its ugly head again!! Anyway hope Keith wins now. Not sure we really needed two hours tonight and the bombshell was hardly that seeing as the hms had nomd last night so knew an eviction would happen sooner or later, though i did enjoy Emma entering through the mirror and Perez OTT welcome lol
