Afternoon everybody.

I dont know how it is possible to inject magic into a scenic photo but you manage it every time.
I am constantly amazed.
Thank you very much, honey.

The scene was fairly magical.

Hello all

The waterfall wasn’t frozen but the shutterspeed “froze” parts of it.

The pic at full size and you can see the splashes.
Thanks Gemo! How beautiful....
I hope that sheep found its way home

There’s something about the light quality around St Mary’s Loch in winter.

One of my favourite shots was taken there years ago.

I should go more often but it is bloomin’ cold.

If you do go you can go into Moffat and visit here. Currently up for sale but as a going concern. It had closed after we had finished our “lunch” on Sunday.

I agree, loved the way she responded to the spite that was Hopkins
Hi Minks. Fab to see you
Hopkins issue is that she wants to be unique and stand out from the crowd as she is terrible businesswoman. But as she isn't very bright nor articulate she has branded herself as nasty in order to bestow upon herself some sense of originality.

Silly woman whose brain seems to be up her own putrid arse.

Hi all
Hoping to be posting again soon which will give me more time to read back.
Hope everyone is doing ok xxxx

The air is good. The Borders don’t suffer too badly from traffic – no motorways, in fact I can’t think of any dual carriageways. Bushy lichens grow on our trees in the garden and that is an indicator of clean air.

I think she is quite bright, but she is singulalrly ill-informed about some of the subjects she talks about. What a pity she doesn't realise this!
Although I would certainly not have put the matter in the confrontational way that she did, I wonder what would have happened in an independent Scotland, concerning the treatment of the nurse with the Ebola virus. Presumably there would be some reciprocal agreement as there is with the EU?

Hi Moots.:+)))))))))))))))))

I did get the Flu jab but the type changed after it was made and distributed,
It shows how quick it can mutate, it doesn't help me, if i don't get better i won't be able to have my op.

What a fabulous shop! It's a long way to go to see beautiful scenery and visit a sweet shop, but I'd like to think we'll travel up to Scotland in the near-ish future. I've only ever been to Edinburgh, I'd like to take the car and travel around a lot more.

Oh Hicky - hope you feel better soon. when is the op scheduled for?

I haven't had the flu jab either Barra, I've heard so many bad outcomes that until I'm older and more frail (!!) I shall be staying away from that!

When I was growing up we used to always camp at at Moffat as the first and last stop of the holiday and so it is very special to us

Most of her questions are valid but she doesn't need to make it personal every time. It always has to be "about somebody" with Katie.

No, it seems they knew darned well that it wasn't going to be effective but dished it out anyway and didn't bother warning people that it might not work so that they could be extra careful.

Tsk Barra, I really think you should!
I wonder if I was one of the 2 out of 3 people that had the useless jab...

Hello

Glad Katie Hopkins didn't win. I found her unbearable.

Hicky, hope you're feeling better this morning. Take care x.

Lovely pics Gemo, thanks for sharing them.

'Cool season' appears to be over, back to mid 30's and high humidity, ugh. Went to Chinatown yesterday as its almost chinese new year so it was full of all things red, gold and lucky good fun if a little crowded and some fantastic photo opportunities. And quite a lot of streetfood, yum.

Hope all is well with everyone. I've been watching 10,000bc and loving it
