Good Morning Everyone.:+))))))))))))))))))

Had to get up O/H going to her Mums for her shopping and have people delivering some aids for after my op.

I haven't had the flu jab since it made me very ill a few years ago, i was all right until the morning after and woke up feeling awful, i said never again. I am a diabetic so supposed to have it but i havent had flu at all (touch wood!)
Hi Barra.:+)))))))))))))))))
I've been lucky never had any reaction from taking the Flu jab.
Had it a long time ago.

What a fabulous shop! It's a long way to go to see beautiful scenery and visit a sweet shop, but I'd like to think we'll travel up to Scotland in the near-ish future. I've only ever been to Edinburgh, I'd like to take the car and travel around a lot more.

Oh Hicky - hope you feel better soon. when is the op scheduled for?

I haven't had the flu jab either Barra, I've heard so many bad outcomes that until I'm older and more frail (!!) I shall be staying away from that!
Hi JoJo.:+)))))))))))))))

I hope so too, not got a date yet so i could be lucky.

When I was growing up we used to always camp at at Moffat as the first and last stop of the holiday and so it is very special to us

I do hope you are feeling better soon, Hicky.

Most of her questions are valid but she doesn't need to make it personal every time. It always has to be "about somebody" with Katie.

No, it seems they knew darned well that it wasn't going to be effective but dished it out anyway and didn't bother warning people that it might not work so that they could be extra careful.
Hi Honey.:+))))))))))))

Thanks, i don't feel as bad this morning as i did last night, went to bed at 5.30pm and didn't eat anything.

Still on phone so cant quote. Popped in to see Oathy's response to Australia being in EUROvision but dont think he has posted about it yet. Looking forward to his Joanie feather boa being constricted.... hee hee xxx

Aw. Sorry you are not very well Hicky... it is so rare for you to be ill hope you recover soon lovely xxxx

Lots
Hi Joni.:+)))))))))))))))))

Thanks, as you say, not often ill, i seem to get a cold if i am out in the rain without the correct waterproof clothing.

Goood morning you lot.

Hicky, how are you? Hope you;re feeling better today.

Good Morning Eddy.:+)))))))))))

I am a little better than last night, didn't sleep too well though.

Hello

Glad Katie Hopkins didn't win. I found her unbearable.

Hicky, hope you're feeling better this morning. Take care x.

Lovely pics Gemo, thanks for sharing them.

'Cool season' appears to be over, back to mid 30's and high humidity, ugh. Went to Chinatown yesterday as its almost chinese new year so it was full of all things red, gold and lucky good fun if a little crowded and some fantastic photo opportunities. And quite a lot of streetfood, yum.

Hope all is well with everyone. I've been watching 10,000bc and loving it
Good Morning Halla.:+))))))))))))))

Thanks, i feel a little better.

Oh My, would just love that, the best thing ever.

I've missed out on 10000BC - I still womanfully plowing through back episodes of Bones - 9 series each with 24 episodes... I'm getting a bit sick of it, to be honest.

’d affynon.

Hope you feel better soon, Hicky.

… and I hope all goes well for little Miss Mootle.

Thank you nowahalla.

I’ve never had the ’flu jab, but I don’t think I’ve ever had ’flu.

I’m allergic to all sorts of things so I wonder if my immune system deals with it.

Edit: Did some googling and seems I could be right.

Hello Moots, you get used to the heat, and you sweat a lot it's the high humidity that makes it sooooo unpleasant though
It'll be the year of the Goat I'm going back to Chinatown on Monday for a full guided walking and food tour should be fun
Ah yes, Mr Boreanaz....*drools a little*

Hicky, I shall manfully volunteer to test out the street food for you on Monday

Hope it doesn't bomb.

Very sad news about Steve Strange dying. I remember Barra's Nikki not wanting him to do her hair in Celeb Scissorhands as she said ' Not Steve... he shakes'.

Anyways very sad indeed.

It knocked me sideways a bit.
I liked him very much but i wouldn't have let him near my hair either. Shaking or not. He was gloriously bonkers.

Maybe you could go for a holiday when you have recovered from your op ?

It is astonishing to think that we were were only shown the better side of Katie Hopkins, but listening to the ex housemates (just seen Pricey on itv) it seems that she was far far worse than she appeared.
The mind boggles.

I suppose they are using different materials all the time as they come on the market.

I was holding one in my hand which was made from the most beautiful shiny steel, i assime some of the highest grade of stainless steel, i even asked if the real thing was the same as it was polished to such a high degree and couldn't understand why it was like that if it was being cemented in anyway, the socket is made of plastic, probably because they must have to ram the ball into it and if the hollow was steel you could never get the ball to go in, they cement the socket in as well.

I'm getting the Metal / Plastic Hip, the socket being Plastic.

I did ask if they could do keyhole surgery, as you would expect, and they don't do home operations, bit of a blow but at least they have bed and full board.

When your waiting for a hospital date they don't tend to rush themselves do they

He is just gorgeous in Series 1, but has aged considerably by series 10 It's the same with Patrick Jane in The Mentalist, now on series 7, with a rather red nose...

I was born in the year of the Monkey, which I think I prefer to being born in the year of the Goat!

what happened?? I even bought a copy of OK today (or it may have been Hello, duh) hoping for some gossip, but all Kati H said (that we hadn't heard already) was that KP's manky boob job smelt like decomp.
For such a self styled expert on everything, Katie H seems to be unable to distiguish between intelligence and opportunity of education.

Amy-Louise and I slunk back from the v e t this morning with our tails between our legs. We got there all starved and rearing to go, but the v e t said there was no chance as she appears to be lactating (!!??) She has to have a week's treatment with a lactation suppressor, and they may be able to do her in a fortnight, by which time I am pretty sure she will be back on heat again....

Lactating? Is it a false pregnancy then? Pippin's vet (she has a different vet to nobby. His looks like Gary Busey and is ten times ruder) says they will only do it EXACTLY half way between the seasons. To the day.
