Hi Barra.:+))))))))))))))))))
If i include Motorcycles i've been driving over 60 years, done way over 1,000,000 miles as well.
It will be a shock, it's like having a restraining order, but later i am going to get on my O/H's car, plus we will try and get a small SUV thats cheap to run.

Hi Moots.:+))))))))))))))))
I am full of stones, i suppose if they read my notes they would know.

I'v never been on public transport really, no idea where anything runs to, i live 5 miles from a Station but don't even know where the trains run to.

Hi Honey.:+))))))))))))

The hip bone ball is just push fit, as far as i could see they just force the ball joint into the socket, probably why they are so worried about what you do and how you bend your hip joint.

If it pops out i imagine they have to start again with a massive operation to remove the old socket and replace it, i don't think you could push it back together because it would be a bad joint and probably just pop out again.

Think it was 2007 or before when they were going to zap the stones in the kidney, they did nothing so they are still full of stones.
FIVE MILES? I didn't know it was even possible to be five miles from a station on the Wirral. I thought they were all over. You must be in the middle of nowhere.
If you can get a bus to Birkenhead station (Hamilton square) you can get just about anywhere from there, or get the ferry. You can get a "go anywhere" ticket for about six pounds that does trains busses and boats, but you should be eligible for a free pass, being over sixty.

In my experience, if you have an extensive medical and surgical history, the doctors you see are just given a small folder containg the stuff they are dealing with, which is absolute madness, so your orthopods probably have no idea you have kidney stones.
Don't they have to also cement in a new socket, otherwise it would be agony with the artificial ball part rubbing against bone? . I used to watch that Sidney Hospital programme on Discovery Home and Health, which was excellent, and they did a lot of heroic sugery on there, including hip replacements.

See, if she is coming into season so often it doesnt give much time for the op to be at the right time. Isnt it normal for the breasts to be enlarged after the season?
That's what I thought, but Amy's didn't fade away and have got bigger recently

Pippin gets slightly swollen nipples after the season but it fades away. The others aren't feeding from Amy-Louise are they?
I doubt if he could get a word in edge-ways with the Katies going hell for leather at each other.
Not that I've noticed! I'm sure she wouldn't let them get near her, and I still put her in her cage if I am going out and leaving them. I just put a heated snugglesafe disc in the cage and she trots in on her own.

I felt like caging mine the other day. Or at least a short spell in Borstal. They somehow purloined a bag of raw sprouts and ate lots and threw lots around. I expect there will be some rotting behind the couch soon. I have practically got a repetitive strain injury from wafting the newspaper.

I mean't a 5 minute walk, my brain works in miles.

I could probably get a bus pass but we always have a car so it shouldn't come to that.

Hi Moot's, :+)))))))))))))))))))
they had a massive file, it's all computerised now but they only look for what they are interested in.

They do cement the new plastic socket in but the ball only gets pushed into it, there's no other way it can go in, so they worry incase it comes out, they say the new tissue/muscle growth keeps it in.

I didn't know they liked sprouts! Maybe I should try some in my lot's tripe chicken and turkey mix... ANYTHING would, er, smell better that carelessly discarded digested tripe remains!

I strongly suspect that if i deliberately tried to feed them raw sprouts they would be on the phone to the RSPCA to complain.

Lot of good stuff in the 80's despite the mocking it gets these days and that was a fine example, you don't get many real talents like that nowadays !

Alison Moyet would have got nowhere today because of her looks and lack of charisma. I am sure we have Moyets galore that are rejected because they dont fit the "look" today.

Adele is one of the few exceptions, but she was well trained, a talented writer/singer, and clever at marketing.
A comparison of the chart show now compared to old top of the pops shows how rare it has become for more ordinary looking people to shine.
I don't think anyone would describe Adele as plain though, would they? I think she is lovely.

The weather on the Wirral is unlike any other part of the UK, probably because it's a Peninsular and with having water / rivers one 3 sides we get 10% of any bad weather the rest of the country has.

Got my date for Hip Op. March 25th. very excited.

Its as if we had! It is really warm and sunny. Its spring. We are just on the other side of the water from Hicky so we usually get similar weather.

Hooray. Not very ;long to wait at all then. Hopefully it will sort out the knee problems too.
CL has a dodgy knee that comes and goes. he fell down a hole at work ages ago and when it gets really bad he makes an appointment with the doctor but by the time it comes around a week or so later he is pirouetting like Wayne Sleep!

so do I, but we live in a fattist society, and there are some very unflattering photos of her at the start of her career..

It's quite sunny here too! Maybe your turn will come, Eddy

I have the same problem - I literally need 2 crutches to get around, and then it suddenly gets better. I think it might be due to a bit of loose cartilage floating round the knee joint
