So much judgement too, based on nothing but rumour and speculation.”

FFS don't some people have better ways of occupying their time? I'm glad I missed it.
Are the posts for or anti Clarkson? I watched a couple of episodes of Top Gear and just couldn't see the point of them, sorry.
According to the good old DM, Clarkson reported himself to management. Also it was just a bit of pushing, not punching. I think BBC should think again about cancelling the remaining show, and this does all seem to be a very personal vendetta. I feel very sorry for the other 2 clowns who present Top Gear.
I think his behaviour in spending 2 hours in a pub while staff at the hotel were waiting to serve dinner was inconsiderate. Maybe he didn't realise this. "rolls eyes"

Do you (or Hicky) live near a cemetery Barra? We have a few in our local churchyard, which, frankly, does smell rather iffy in summer... In autumn we get lots of fungi cropping up from coffins... Just thought I would share that with you!

We have dispensed with the food shed, buying a lot less, only got the American fridge freezer so not a lot of frozen food but the unit has a fantastic fridge section.”

Maybe the previous incumbent used to feed them carrion daily!

For instance, we have got a huge sack of spanish onions (£3) on the top of the cellar steps at the moment which is neither safe or practical.

Do you think you might be better with a slope rather than a step?

I've had that before, think the page just doesn't renew, it just replaces it with the existing one.
If you think it should be changed i think you can use Ctrl +F5.

Mushrooms usually grow where Cows graze don't they?

There was a blast from the past for BB fans on Comic Relief - Davina and Dermot appeared together, thread about it HERE includes a YT link of the clip. Brings back a load of good memories, is a good clip too, features the end of Dermot's danceathon and revealing how much he raised, watch him get all emotional and Davina give him a hug!

I know of a fungus that grows massive and grows on trees, i imagine it's pretty expensive to buy.
I sometimes buy a pack of mixed fungus and mushrooms and fry it for brekkie, yummy.
I don't ask where it's grown as it doesn't really bother me.

I don't think so. Didn't they have some sort of EU ruling and thats why we are paying a fortune for temporary doctors etc. I think they call it "bank" work or something dont they?
It annoys me that we give actors oscars and football players OBEs and stuff and ignore the everyday heroes. (not saying the actors and sportsmen aren't great, but so are others)

I never ever ever pick or eat wild mushrooms unless its something that cant possibly be mistaken. It just isnt worth the risk. My brother often picks some for me though.
Do you like puffballs, Hicky?

I used to go mushrooming when i was young almost every Sunday morning, very early, got loads of them, the good big ones were hard to find as they had usually been hidden under some leaves for a while.
They were just normal mushrooms though.

Seen tons of puff balls but don't know if they are edible or not.

Absolutely. You slice them thickly and eat them like steak. They are nice bread-crumbed too.
Dont walk past one again!

Rita Ora is clearly insane.

I used to see the ones that had probably turned ripe as they had the dust inside that went everywhere, i didn't know they were edible anyway but reading about them, it says there are some fake ones that mimic the puffball but are poisonous.

We all see the singers in a different way.

Oh I know, but you would think she would pick some who are a bit different to each other. I liked Mitch.
It was awfully rude of Tom and Will to gawp open mouthed when she put the dullest through though.

I thought all the singers were great, not a lover of feller singing anyway, don't reach the right notes with me so i wouldn't have put that lad through which horrified Will.

But between the girls i would find it too hard to choose.
