I suppose people only take notice of certain"markers" about us that gives them information (often wrong) about us?”

Hi Honey, age dif is 13 yrs.

Thanks Eddy.:+))))))))))))

It's good to be home, staying in hospital would make you ill.

Back on my Puter, not a fan of tablets but good for Emergencies.

Having trouble trying to sleep on my back though, it's something i've never done.
Mind you having a stitched side and pipes coming out of you doesn't help really.

I know - it's all mumbo jumbo to me, I just let nature take its course when I had my children and we were all fine - no placenta was eaten or drunk in the process

yes, well sedated, but you have to numb the area.

yes, thats me.

I remember rooting through a placenta once with a midwife.
Give me black pudding anyday as its ready made.”

I'm sure I'm going to regret this, but why????

Well done.

Oh dear. Dont overdo it.

I wouldn't put it past him.

*sighs* We are back again from the vets. Pippin is still having a false pregnancy and its worse than last time so she is on drugs (im on the verge of it myself after all this) to halt the lactating etc and we will attempt it again next week. ”

Oh Honey, poor you, must be stressful. I had to laugh at the thought of you having what used to be called 'an hysterical pregnancy'!

Congratulations to them Barra, 50 years is a long time to be married to the same person

Hicky you have to take it slowly and take the painkillers even if you feel you don't need them. It's easier to control pain before it gets painful, if you see what I mean. Keep it under control and you'll be better able to exercise, eat and sleep well.

My dad came out of hospital with a catheter at least twice - he soon got used to it although it's a bugger having to trail it round with you! Shouldn't be for long, it's very common with 'older' men post surgery.

You're doing really well, don't mess it up by being impatient - she said, Mrs Impatient

Which massive knob did you have in mind, Johnny? I'm sure we've all had our knobby moments. Don't let it put you off posting. Just put the mystery knob on ignore and join in.

Has anyone noticed that the function that lets you look at someones other posts has gone back to 2010?
It is fascinating. But please...brace yourself before you look. It can be a shock to stumble across the posts from someone who is no longer with us.

Other than that... I was absolutely glued.

Hi Moots, Nurse comes next week to see me.”

I hope you get rid of the catheter soon Hicky!

If you have been given painkillers, please please please take them!
I have learned from bitter experience that if you don't treat pain adequately, the stress you feel from enduring the pain begets yet more pain, and what is the point of that??

Did anyone watch the Richard 111 programme?

It was spectacular and imnpressive, but why did they plonk a woman showing far too much naked knee and calf next to the driver of the gun carriage, who was dressed in early Victorian men's clothes, as was everyone else who wasn't wearing armour?? The naked looking legs sort of glowed like a beacon, or maybe 2 raw sausages side by side...
How very inappropriate.

who WAS this woman? Where did they FIND her??

I "think" it might have been the woman from the Richard the third society who started the whole thing? They should have put a cloak on her or licked her off.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. Particularly the glum brownie.
