Oh it sounds just like my creation. :D Pippin has decided she is completely better and has been flinging herself around after her ball. we are down to one stitch now and it looks very open but is dry, so i suppose it is ok.

We went out to buy turf and couldnt find any. I was wondering if there was a turf shortage or something and had to phone Hicky for help :D We decided to get it on the way back and went off to Cheshire Oaks outlet centre where we went the wrong way round twice and got lost so I was walking like an ape after a while.
I noticed that both Ralph Lauren shops had a queue to get in  I know its a decent brand but i am amazed that anyone would queue for it. We certainly didn't bother! I was looking for towels. There is barely a decent towel in the north West at the moment. >:( I can only see the point of either huge thick fluffy ones that last forever, or the very thin ones that dry quick and you can fit lots in the washing machine. All i could see were mid range neither hither nor thither crap!
I did get an enormous memory foam mattress though, and a lime green pan, skin cream, pants, thermal vests, t shirts, green primer, lipstick, oxtail soup, portmerion bowls, a load of shopping from Morrisons, and a net petticoat, so when we went to get the turf we realised we had no room for it in the boot and we have to back in the morning :o”

Another bargain shop then - a tad eclectic but I suppose if it was all in the same place, too good to miss! Hilarious that you have to go back tomorrow - no wonder if you filled the car with a huge mattress:D

Did they ask you to bring Pippin back for a check after the weekend? How many stitches could you see to begin with??

Hi Honey.:+)))))))))))))))))

You do realise Turf is usually very heavy, as well as taking up room, and messy, you need to line the car with plastic sheet or something, a small waterproof Tarpaulin will do, they are pretty cheap from B&Q.
Hope they have some Turf left, else ask them when their next delivery is.

I suppose the production team was getting fed up with Dermy dropping his voice (? with excitement?) at the end of a sentence, and also in admiration when introducing a person I had not heard of before So annoying!!!!

How are you doing Hicky! Have you managed to shed that catheter yet?

The best person to replace the Clarkson Creature would be Chris Evans I think, but he has said that he doesn't want to do it.

Hello you few, you very few

Arrrgh, apparently the General Election Campaign has started today.

It has already been going on for weeks... My only comment so far is to suspect that Labour is showing lack of judgement in saying it will "Save the NHS" when Labour has made such a mess of the NHS in Wales.

In all the years I have been voting, nobody has ever come to my door and asked for my vote.... Has this happened to anybody else? Or rather, not happened??
Maybe it is because I live in an area which is thought to be a safe Labour seat.

Its the official start today but as you say unofficially it started weeks ago! We always get campaigners knocking on our door as we are not in a safe seat, none yet but we have had a labour leaflet and poster through the door!

Hi Moots.:+))))))))))))))

The only people that like Labour are the banks and money lenders, we will be paying back their last lot of borrowing for ever, thye just spend their way out of a problem because they can't face the fact that you have to live within your means.

For those of you that appreciate a rather spicy fantastic Malaysian dish very populare in the far east, Singapore, Malaya.

Pretty hard to buy ready made in the UK, had a lovely one in London once.

It's so easy to make and no skill needed.
You put the whole jar of paste into a 2 litre pan and add 1 litre of hot water of chicken stock.
You need to add coconut milk, some sliced veg to suit, prawn or chicken or meat all cooked and sliced, also needed is 2 nests of noodles or some bean sprouts.
It's all added to suit your own taste.
Bring to boil and simmer for a few minutes to make sure all ingredients are well cooked.

I use these from online as it saves looking round the stores, although they usually have them but you may need to ask where they are.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Malay-Taste-...ds=laksa+paste

But it sure is my fave soup.

It would have been more convincing if they had given even the slightest indication of how it might be achieved. Give Cameron his due, the thing about hospitals and doctors being open all week at least "sounds" like a good idea rather than vague ramblings. (not that anyone will vote for them anyway until he gets rid of nasty Duncan Smith and dishonest McVey)

Its the best place for them. It isnt true that the entire debt was Labour's fault though, and the Conservatives havent exactly paid it off yet have they? Despite people ACTUALLY STARVING TO DEATH on the cutbacks.

Labour don't live within the earnings of the country, they just keep borrowing, why do you think we are having to sort the books out now, do you want this year after year, if labour get in we are doomed, he hasn't a clue, he just scare mongers.

It's a soup, nothing like curried noodles, soup is a liquid, just had my second bowl, i'll keep one for tomorrow.

well, there is noWAY I am everr going to vote for a man who stabbed his far more politically competent brother in the back, and then appointed a loon who makes a mockery of the democratic process by continually heckling a democratically elected PM in Prime Minister's Question Time. This is just NOT done.

Ranting on about politics, what is that strange up and down movement Edgar Miliband makes with his forearms when he is speaking passionately about something? Cameron does it too, but to a lesser extent. Is there a puppet master standing above them jerking their strings?? Sometimes there is also someone making Ed's head nod up and down.

Honey, have you any documentation about people starving to death?

Me neither. If you can do that to your own brother what next? AND when he was asked about it the other day he was sneering about him.

If Bercow wasn't incompetent he would have been slung out long ago. It is very unpleasant.

There is also the hidden cost of malnutrition, which is now very common and kills in the long run, and also suicide.

I would never vote for any party that supports victimisation of the weak. (including Labour who started the current sanctions fiasco in 2010)

There was a horrible storm here last night. In fact it is is still very windy now. The gazebo was still standing so i went out in the rain in my nighty to knock the pooled water off the top of it with the sweeping brush. Ten seconds later i discovered that it was the weight of the water that was keeping it stable. "sighs*
