I hope so.
They should never have had her in the party in the first place. What a ridiculous set up. Milliband who did the dirty on his own brother, Balls who messed up the economy, and Harman who was apparently a member of the Paedophile information network! ( by some sort of accident, it seems)And they wonder why they lost? I think they should fire the whole lot and start again and hopefully bring the party back to its original principals. But it's back to the drawing board for the 3 who have resigned. |

Hello all ![]() Quote:
Did you see in the paper the other day that another chihuahua was savaged to death by seagulls? I am v very uneasy letting ours out now, even though "our" Elvira is as gentle as can be and seems to keep all the others away (she wants to be the only seagull in the village ) They are saying George Galloway has lost his seat. ![]() Nor do mine. I am very glad. It is difficult enough getting them to keep still and submit to grooming, let alone trying to put vests on them. ![]() Oh shame poorGeorge Galloway! I hasn't realised he was an actual MP.. ![]() Quote:
Good Morning Honey.:+))))))))))))))))
I find it strange that we have dozens of polls all the way through the boring election trail and they always get it wrong, it must cost millions for all these polls to happen, when will they realise that they don't work, when you ask someone who they will vote for they just lie or say what they want to hear. All this rubbish about how close it was for weeks when it wasn't close at all. Just wish they would stop all the polls as i think it can control the public voting, but it's a complete guess. I didn't want Labour to get in as Ed was just saying Conservative policies, the same as Nick Clegg, they know that if they really said the truth they wouldn't get 1 seat in Parliament. I know who i would trust with my savings, if i had any. It seems that the public didn't want Ed and the SNP to run the country, thank heavens for that. Nick and Ed are now finished, and Ed Ball has been kicked out. I didn't want the Edstone to get in, because of his unacceptable socialist beliefs. Does ANYONE know of a socialist government that ever worked?? Or wasn't propped up by secret police and with people tending to disappear? I am absolutely thrilled about this.! maybe some decorum will return to Prime Minister's Question Time without that thug heckling all the time.Any ideas for a redundant slab of limestone?? I badly need a new doorstep! Mine broke.. message to Union bosses.- please sirs, can we have have our David (Miliband ) back?? It could all have been so different.. ![]() Quote:
Indeed, but now they have put the unsavory Harriet Harman in charge and made it ten times worse!

The Green’s lost load of votes from people I know (photographers and musicians) because of their proposed reduction of copyright to just 14 years.

Hello all
![]() I did see that - what with seagulls, predatory birds of prey swooping down and carrying them off, next door's python escaping to devour them, and not forgetting dognappers, I am terrified to let mine out of my sight! This is all impossible to explain to a chihuahua unfortunately... Oh shame poorGeorge Galloway! I hasn't realised he was an actual MP.. ![]() The problem with polls is that the great English public believes that who it votes for is its own business, and could end up being economical with the truth. Yep, there’s the side sweeps as well as the up and down.
At least she doesn’t chuck empty threats around. The other’s keep saying to her is that the first thing that will happen is tat she’ll set up another referendum to separate Scotland, what they fail to recall was that a third referendum option of Devo Max was turned down. |

Afternoon all.
![]() Do you mean because of the huge gap between what we thought was going to happen in the independence vote and what actually happened? How on earth did you break your step, and where do you buy replacements? I see David got a dig in and is probably rolling around in glee. ![]() Having no idea seems to be a qualification in politics. I think the Scots are stereotyped with having too much backbone rather than not enough. ![]() What happened to the seconded football managers? |

I KNEW I could lure you back... How NICE to see you ! I was going on all the reports from various sources about how the Scots who didn't support leaving the UK were intimidated, such as JK Rowling... Anyway, i would just like you to know that you are lucky to have Nicola Sturgeon as your leader in this brave new Scottish world. If she were English i would probably vote for her too... |

I'm going to stick my neck out here re the Scottish referendum held recently that Alex Salmond was so sure he was going to win. Why was he so wrong?? As I recall the only people who wanted to leave were from Glasgow.

I'm a bit confused with the SNP votes in the election, they voted down a referendum when they had one, now they have voted in all the SNP that were standing so they can get what they want in the UK parliament, but they are not in government so how does that work. it seems like they want to control what happens in Scotland from being back bencher's in the UK parliament, how are they going to get anything unless the Conservatives give it to them?
Threats were made that were groundless – no pound, you’ll have to apply to rejoin the EU. We were let down and I reckon some of the No voters weren’t impressed. The vote wasn’t against the English it was to keep the things we had got better than the English – education funding and care of the elderly etc. In the debate the Scots were described as “wily” for getting a better deal. If Camoron had got a better deal for the UK in an EU negotiation would he be described as “wily”? |

Were the education funding and care of the elderly under threat? I hadn't heard that.

Nononooo she was intimidated. She is married to a Scottish doctor and I believe lives in Scotland, and she receved hate mail when she urged the people of Scotland not to dump the UK.
Well it looks like she will have a chance to say it all over again shortly. Quote:
