Ellie Goulding- Love Me Like You Do (50 Shades of Grey)
New single from the film soundtrack. It's very radio friendly and I think will be a big hit.

Listened to this not expecting to like but boy was I wrong, I loved it after one listen! Really catchy, love the lyrics and Ellie's voice on it.

Released on 15th Febuary 2015 and already #91 (right now) on iTunes based on pre-order sales.
Safe to say this going to be a UK #1 on 22nd Feb. I think it's a great track, a little repetitive but then so was Burn and I liked that too (although the live performances of Burn were dreadful imo) but regardless, LMLYD is gonna be a big hit. |

Absolutely love it! Lyrics are great and Ellie's voice is brilliant. I think it is one of her best tracks yet and I'm a massive fan of hers.
Really hope it goes to #1 and does well in countries other than the UK. |

Her music is becoming gradually worse. It's either overproduced or sounds like everything else so it can give her more high positions and more high sales. I remember back when she did her own thing and never felt the need to be like all the others.

Ellie Goulding is moving into her lane as a pop star. It took her a while to get there; but I see her as gaining fans and mainstream appeal. She's doing well, good for her. Yes, this song is more commercial, but its a commercial song to make her some money so she can keep making the music she likes. Good for her; she knows how to play the game unlike some out there.
I also quite like the song. It'll become catchy with more listens. |

Brilliant song! Heard it on Capital this morning and Shazam'd straight away... was surprised to see it was this song (I read this thread last night!) My new/temporary obsession.

I couldn't stand "Burn" for instance. |

It's her best post Re-release song I adore it. Don't like the auto tune in the vocals. But overall a really great adult contemporary tune that shows her versatility more. I think come album #3 she might just get bigger.
