Recently I discovered a large part of skincare was the foods I was eating and I've discovered how bad many are for me, but while I've discovered the bad ones, no one's told me the good ones? Which foods are good for my skin?

l'd suggest a good, healthy mixed diet [see http://www.nhs.uk/livewell/5aday/Pages/5ADAYhome.aspx http://www.nhs.uk/livewell/goodfood/...foodhome.aspx] to include foods containing omega 3 fatty acids [http://www.eatwellscotland.org/healt...sh/index.html].

Tea bags are fantastic for puffy eyes, so when making the morning cuppa, throw the used teabag on your eyes before discarding it in the bin.
You'll be all bright-eyed for work

I met a friend's mum in California a few years back, so lots of hot, dry weather. She was astonishing - in her mid 80's and had barely a line on her face. She swore blind by daily use of avocado oil on her skin. So I'd imagine a diet including them too would work wonders.

For our good skin we need to drink more water daily and a healthy diet. Breakfast is very important for health and skin. We need to have a healthy breakfast like green vegetables, fruits, eggs, milk and bread. Yoga and exercise are also very useful for our skin and body.

There's a lot of sugar in fruit though.

That's basically it.

Cut out the sugar. Still eat fruit but cut out the chocolate and cakes - only for treats only.

Include omega oils - the best improver of my skin has been flaxseed oil. ( I take a 1000mg a day capsule) as I cannot be bothered to eat the seeds.

8 halves of walnuts a day. Good for hair too.

Brisk walk for at least 30 mins a day. Sleep well. Don't look at phone, tablet etc at least an hour before bed. Don't keep them in your bedroom.

Stay hydrated. Often hunger pangs are a sign of dehydration. Reduce caffeine.

I've read that two aren't good for your skin

Another vouch for avocado here, makes a great homemade face pack. Lots of water and sleep are key.

They need to be cooled down before using them.

Fruit does contain quite a lot of sugar, but I think if you have the whole fruit the benefits might outweigh the disadvantages.

I heard that sparkling water is bad for your skin. Does anyone know if that's true?
