Lovely story but no everyone doesn't need to adopt, I have had many adopted dogs and the last two pups we got we went to a breeder, bringing adopted dogs into a family is brilliant when you have suitable family to do it but now with 5 year old child we had to be sure of temperament and not take any risks so we started with puppies from good homes.

Obviously it comes with caveats but I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment.

DB is a darling and it's heartbreaking to contemplate what might of been.
