HTC One - Poor battery life

I've had my HTC One since April and over the last 2 months the battery life seems to be awful. 7 hours max, not using it for music or anything other than occasional calls and text. Any ideas?

From what i can remember that was an issue with htc one and it was one of the main gripes people had with the phone,
I have the htc one m8 and i get a good day & half - 2days with general usage

Sounds like a rogue app. It should not drop to so low in 7 hours unless you're browsing the web or playing games. Music and texts use very little battery. Can you post some stats from the battery section? What are the percentage uses?
