Has a transmitter been turned on near Oswestry? I'm picking up the Wolverhampton and Shropshire mux at full signal at my house, which is near to the Wrexham-Rhos transmitter.
Oh it has gone live now has it? I knew the Tx site at Rhosfach Farm (selattyn) was nearing completion, but didn't know it had gone live. Here is the site location and details (prior to DAB install)... http://tx.mb21.co.uk/gallery/selattyn.php |

I couldn't find anything to say that it's on air.
Now Wolves and Shrops is very good (apart from some low areas of shrewsbury) and i would say in the shropshire area out performs FM |

Gives me a bit more "choice" up here. Think signal 107 would be a good addition to the mux as well.

Yes it went on just before Christmas apparently. If you look at the ofcom technical parameters site you will find of all DAB transmitters, though it only list them after they are on. It says it came on on the 7th dec. The frequency finder web site uses this for their list.
We are now awaiting llangollen transmitter and those of us in north shrops should getter reception of the Wrexham & Chester mux. |
