I could be wrong here, I have no tattoos, but I imagine blokes get tattoos because it's a blokey thing to do. But would you be attracted to a woman who is covered in them?

I'm not getting this connection that Callum is hot for Cami just because she has tattoos. To me, a woman with tattoos looks like a bloke with tits.

What say you?

I'm a guy and plan on getting one. And some girls are very attractive with them.

I find them repellent.

Unpleasant.

I don't have a tattoo and don't plan on getting one.

I don't mind women with them though

I would imagine he just likes tattoos in general. That's how I feel anyway (as a girl with tattoos)

Tattoos have all the charm of graffiti.

If one feels the necessity to 'enhance' oneself, wouldn't it be better to concentrate on one's personality / character?

They just look silly, like a load of childish scribble.

They don't do anything for me. A very small subtle one is fine, but when they cover too much skin I find them ugly.
I wouldn't necessarily dislike a woman just because she had tattoos, but I wouldn't find them attractive and would merely tolerate them.

It sort of sends out the message that they are trying too hard to impress.
If a woman is already physically attractive then it would be her personality which would give her an edge, not having lots of superficial tattoos.

Be careful on what you choose and where you have it as its there for life, I have three myself my younger brother on the other hand has his whole upper torso chest and back fully coloured in with no gaps and two full sleeves, so take it as far as you want to go. Oh and having a tattoo done is painful you could get your tattooist to run his guns over you with no ink to give you an idea on how painful it is, good luck Salv.....

Fantastic advice right here. I foresee many regrets in the future from people who cover themselves in tattoos because it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Less is more IMO.

They're very fashionable at the moment, but I find them ugly on men or women. especially when people are covered in them like Callum and Cami. I think they'll become dated eventually, like mullett haircuts, but not so easy to change.

Not for me at all. Maybe a small subtle one for a woman is OK but there is nothing appealing in seeing an otherwise pretty girl with arms like a deckhand. Just looks so wrong when they wear glamorous evening dresses and have all this ink on display
Suppose it is each to their own but IMO not attractive

Watched a show on CBS Reality the other night about a tattoo parlour in the states. One woman was in agony having an old tattoo made into a slightly better looking tattoo and seeing someone in that amount of pain must put many off inking up their skin.

If you were hot before tattoos, you'll be the same after unless you cover over your face with them.

No difference to me.

I have one in a discreet place, it's such a massive thing to do, generally unattractive

Cami is a great looking chick but those tattoo's don't do her any favours.

They can work if subtle and in the right places but the full arm thing just looks a bit desperate on a woman (and a man as well tbf).

I find Cami completely unattractive in every way; the body "art" only makes the whole package worse. Some wisely chosen ink can be very nice on both men and woman, but not like THAT. She has a Beetlejuice tattoo FFS!

Her personality is her worse feature though.

Cami has that sexy secretary look nailed (with the glasses) but oh wait, she's covered in tattoos so maybe she should work on a building site?

Bizarre. And yes IMO it looks equally stupid on a man as well but somehow more acceptable men generally want to look manly not attractive. Women with tats succeed in that respect as well.

I hate tats on women! I don't mind a little one on the ankle or something but it's a real turn off for me when they have them all up their arms and stuff. They always look like they need a good scrub!

There is no rule which applies. It depends on whether it suits/looks good or not. On some women, maybe even most women, it would look ugly and distasteful. On Camri however, the juxtaposition of her pretty features, and undeniable feminity, with the tattoos works very well imo.

A little one can look good. Or even one that's larger which is a strong design that looks like a great piece of art. But when either a man or a woman has a large coverage of tattoos over their limbs I don't see the individual designs, I just see someone who looks like somebody has scribbled all over their body with a felt tip pen.

Its not the look thats important but the meaning, many use tattoos to represent something in their life , most people overlook this point IMO

when my grandfather passed me and my brother both got inked and it was a meaningful thing for us both , we didnt do it for 'body art' we did it to remind us of a great man who had his original ink done when he returned to this country after being a POW.

some people need to open their minds regarding tattoos and their representation to a large percentage of people who decide to get inked so quit the stupid one rule fits all 'tats are horrible' nonsense as many can represent far more than 'ART'
