Totally agree. I bet they have alerts set up which bleeps every time their name gets mentioned and they can whoop and cheer that someone, somewhere has paid them some attention, good or bad.

These people would sell their own faeces if it meant cash and column inches and I think it's a rather sad and pathetic way to live, regardless of whether it pays the bills.

Exactly she asked what size, so why did she not give a size rather than a name. Or better still why not say Ken who is clearly on a par with Gemma size wise and is actually in the House Hmm and I thought Katie wasn't afraid to say it like it is, be honest and upfront

Well I'm plain to look at, that's a fact - I know myself, my limitations, my flaws.

I would still, however, still feel hurt if somebody like Katie Hopkins went on TV, twitter or anywhere else and made some remark about my looks 'muggins14 is no pleasure to look at' that sort of thing. I still have feelings. It is unnecessary and not really her place, although it is her job, she's not paid to be nice.

It wouldn't surprise me if she and Gemma had got together previously - agreed that she'd mention Gemma in this context so that it'd get Gemma some attention

Abuse in my book is to treat someone with cruelty or violence, especially if its done regularly or repeatedly. Calling GC fat is simply the truth and just because Katie Hopkins said it on a show famed for its outspokenness , doesn't mean it is any less true. All these people are celebrities making their living out of being in the public eye, spouting their opinions, and flogging whatever it is they have to sell. Therefore they do have to take the comments of the GBP onboard because they are asking us to keep them in the manner to which they wish to become accustomed!

However it is another matter when private individuals like myself and other posters are castigated by people claiming that their opinions are the only correct and valid ones and anyone who disagrees with them is in favour of abuse and cruelty. It is a Discussion Forum...grasp the concept!

I'm sorry that you didn't like being singled out by me as an example - when I could simply have made a comment about a generic type rather than an individual ( I did say 'people like you' but I can understand your reaction. Gemma would have felt the same, only moreso as she was singled out by name.)

I don't know why Nadia pulled a face when Katie said Gemma was fat. She is! And Gemma herself knows it. Nadia might think Katie's rude but Katie wouldn't be this famous if she wasn't. She makes a career off it.

Very true. Did anyone see Katie's face first thing in the morning without make-up and her hair looking like she borrowed it from a scarecrow.

Gemma Collins may be fat but she could lose weight and would be quite pretty. Katie on the other hand will always look like a nag's head.
