EastEnders up from Tuesday is great. I'm hoping next week starts seeing a steady increase in ratings.

I wish it could be making 8m+ figures often.

Wasn't that a strapline used by Sainsbury's for a while?

Not that surprised at the rating. This sort of thing often does better than you'd expect. Excellent figure nonetheless.

Wow. Probably 10 times the slot average.

Looking well worth the investment at the moment with a hefty timeshift to come.

The clashes during anniversary week won't help EastEnders. Even so it should be a bit higher now anyway. The share is decent for a Thursday it has to be said.

It was top UK trend for over an hour. People seemed to want to talk about it.

EastEnders up on Tuesday with a great Share.

It is. Highest of series 4 so far. Highest ever overnight rating was 7.19m last year.

Any figures for Ross Keep on Sky 1 in the same 9pm slot?

When I looked on Twitter at 10pm they were trending at second and third.

Thanks Neil.

In that case I'm surprised 24 Hours In Police Custody didn't make 2m.

Twitter went crazy for Eat Well For Less. I remember that happened with Your Home In Their Hands and the ratings were disastrous. Expected at least 3m for EWFL nearly 5m is a cracking rating opposite Emmerdale and Birds Of A Feather.

EastEnders is getting good shares. The total number of people around on Thursday must come into play.

It felt like a case of think big, think Scandinavian, think big name stars ("her from The Killing, great work"), throw millions at it, give me 13 hours but worry about the plot later. It was lovely to look at. I was also gently grrrrr'ing throughout at my £71.25 per month bill.... ”

You might want to do what I've done then - axe the Sky box and replace it with a Now TV one instead. The box is a tenner, and then you pay £7 a month (ie 90% less) and still get to have all the Sky original programmes (like Fortitude etc) plus all the main channel catch-up services. Movies are a bit more, but you can pay for individual months instead of being locked in for a year at a time. I'll watch Fortitude on it tonight, and see whether I agree with you about that.

We've got one in the bedroom as we have no Freeview here and don't want to pay for multiroom.

We only use it to watch Sky News Live. No sub required.

Good bit of kit for non Sky Sports viewers., who don't mind SD only.

Theres no way BOAF will be back if they don't improve the writing.
first series was okay the writing in the 2nd is just atrocious Each episode seems to forget what the last one was offering. Whoever cast that guy as Garthy really does need sacking
