I'm surprised The Gift isn't doing that well. Very easy slot, up against male programmes or low rating factual, features Matt Baker. A bit like The Zoo, one of those freak disappointments.

Sums up a lot of people today. Why have a look on the EPG or in a TV listings mag when you can just ask on Twitter for someone else to do the hard work.

Like when people ask in general discussion if the supermarkets are open or are the buses running on Bank Holiday Monday.

A complete reboot might work, but its clearly not going to happen”

Daftest plot device ever, I can't believe the producers signed it off.

Original school could have burnt down in the plot, moved to a new school, still in Rochdale in the plot but actually in Scotland in real life.

Or even better, just carried on filming in the North West and stop all this massaging of quota rules.

I do agree with you.
I think with Soaps people get set in their ways it's like EastEnders on a Wednesday or Corrie on a Thursday is out of the world or something.

Same on Monday people asking where EastEnders was despite the trailers stating from Tuesday 17th.

Digiguide suggests Matt Lucas's new BBC One sitcom Pompidou has been dumped on BBC Two on Sundays at 6.30pm.

It definitely suits Two more imo, A silent comedy would have been a hard sell on One however well intentioned the commission might have been- At least here it might gain a cult following?

The rights to the Sony films are confusing, some have been on Channel 4, others Channel 5. It's an alright film so should do decently. The Amazing Spider-Man haven't had its terrestrial debut yet but I wonder where that'll end up.

The newer Paramount films with the exception of Tintin seems to be limbo. Something like Mission Impossible or Transformers would do well on a Sunday.

Is Sunday at 6:30 on BBC Two even a slot? I couldn't tell you what airs at that time. I'd assume it's just some repeats, or the back end of some sport.

ITV still trailering Emmerdale tomorrow for 7 instead of 6.45 pm.

I can't remember a new sitcom ever airing in that slot on BBC Two.

An experiment for Car Share?

This sort of thing happens scarily often on ITV, if the regular reports in here are anything to go by.

Embarrassing really.

That is just crazy. I thought Pizza's theory about ITV scuppering their own ratings in the lead-up to Charter renewal was just a bit of paranoia, but I'm starting to wonder...

I was dubious about a silent sitcom, but I thought it would at least get a slot on BBC One, even if it was at 10.35pm. I was expecting it to be quite rude like Little Britain or Come Fly With Me.

The announcer at the end said it was back at the earlier time of 6:45.

They tried a new sketch show there a year or two back IIRC, but it died a death I think and I can't remember the title.

Maybe they're doing it to create an excuse for low ratings?

ITV2 have recomissioned Tricked for a new series.

Thunderbirds trailers have stepped up a gear recently and it looks quite decent now we are seeing more of the footage. Not sure how it will go down at 9am on CITV on ITV1 though.

Funny thing is the announcer said it's on at 6:45pm tomorrow and 30 seconds later the trailer says 7:00pm

Ah well i will give the whole show a miss. Not point in watching just half hour
I will continue to watch Local news on BBC1 and EastEnders as usual.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have a primetime premiere. ITV have invested a lot of money so it wouldn't make sense to just have it in the mornings

I think everyone on here agrees with you but who knows what ITV will actually do?

Off Their Rockers is also 9x30 this series according to ITV press centre.

And ITV2 will screen the second series of US sitcom MOM.
