BBC One's Easter Monday schedule is a Wallace and Gromit repeat, EastEnders, Masterchef (no idea where that's come from, it's still on in its regular slots) and a Mrs Brown's Boys repeat. I think it's safe to say The Ark was definitely moved a week forward as that can't have been the original plan, surely. ITV have Code of a Killer at 9pm, as expected (did we know this was 90 minutes?)

Saturday is a bit better with the premiere of Rise of the Guardians at 17:15, followed by the news and then The Voice final. Michael Mcintyre's Easter Night at the Coliseum airs on the Sunday at 8pm, against Vera on ITV.

No sign of The Sun Trap or Car Share, with HIGNFY leading into another Mrs Brown's Boys repeat.

It's a shame about The Ark, because that Easter Monday schedule is the only thing letting them down this Easter imo, the other days look good.

The only reason I can think of them mentioning it on that account obviously must be because Chris Kamara is one of the presenters. Still bizarre though.

Pretty poor Easter Monday lineup from BBC1. Like you've said though it probably isn't the original schedule. Wonder why they've ran scared from Code of A Killer (if that is the case). Even so, they'd probably have been better off airing The Ark on Good Friday and Eurovision on Easter Monday as then their lineup would seem much stronger. That episode of MasterChef appears to have come out of nowhere, I've no idea how that will work.

Over on ITV Thunderbirds Are Go is down to air on Easter Saturday at 5pm for an hour. I don't see why they aren't airing it at 6pm instead (they've only got the news and You've Been Framed there). Vera and Code of A Killer in as expected (looks like Code will conclude the following Monday). Also new additions to the 9pm slot are Ice Rink on The Estate (Thursday) and Slow Train Through Africa (Friday).

The Island returns to C4 on the Wednesday and continues on the Thursday (both at 9pm).

The Ark is apparently dreadful. Plus it stars David Threalfall and I think BBC1 probably moved it to avoid David Threlfall in Code Of A Killer.

I've heard that it's dreadful too (whereas Code of A Killer is apparently very good) but I think Good Friday would have been a better bet. There's obviously a reason why it's taken so long to get to air though.

Is it some kind of bonus episode of MasterChef do we think or is it going to put the series out of sync?

It's BBC's debate the following Thursday isn't it, maybe it's to make up for missing an episode then, although I don't know how that'll work without messing up the format.

Two repeats of New Tricks in prime time this week, two repeats of Mrs Brown in Easter week, add to that a million episodes of Masterchef and a three part KFC advert and it sounds like a pretty poor schedule.

This is what they get for going over the top front loading the schedule at the start of the year. I don't know why they don't spread out their programmes better.

Do we know what they have lined up to replace The Voice?

I wouldn't be surprised if they swap YBF and the news with Thunderbirds. Are they showing double episodes as each episode is meant to be half an hour long unless this is the Thunderbirds are Go! doc that got postponed due to the Election debate

Why is there so many episodes a week anyway? The Apprentice is on once a week, Bake Off is on once a week, so why is Masterchef on three times a week?

BBC1 front load the new year and ITV leave it sparse. They both get screwed because of it in the ratings eventually.

They tried reformatting Masterchef as a weekly show and it only lasted two series. It's essentially five half an hour episodes edited into two hourly and one half an hour episode week.

Rise of the Guardians v Thunderbirds? That's an interesting one on the Saturday.

Not much else of note really. A quiet Easter, dull uninspired and mostly just like any other week.

Channel 5 should step in, They just need to put out something good to watch instead of the predictable fare.

Because its successful with this format would be the answer. I notice you have no problem when BGT/IAC is on every night for weeks though.

C5 are only doing two things differently over the Easter weekend and both are in daytime. On the Easter Sunday they have a feature length Thomas & Friends leading into the Nickelodeon awards and then on the Sunday Neighbours is earlier than usual at 1.10 followed by a repeat of the 30th anniversary special and then that god awful William and Kate movie.

The Late Late Show scored its best viewing figures for over 3 years for Corden's first show. Decent start for it. The critics quite liked it as well.

Corden did very well for his first show and it should be able to fix any issues in the coming months although he only has Letterman as a lead in for 7 weeks then drama repeats during the summer before Stephen Colbert debuts in September so he doesn't have the easiest job but hopefully CBS has kept that mind with ratings expectations. It looks like CBS has finally given The Late Late Show a decent budget compared to previous years.

I'm just so pleased to just see Thunderbirds Are Go on the main ITV channel. Shoving it away on CITV would be a silly move. But now they need too push it back later. There is really no point in putting it at 5pm and keeping YBF rpt's at 6.30pm.

If they are going to double up the episodes (which I think is a good idea an makes it more of an event) then I would put TAG at 6pm until 7pm to create the best schedule (although I bet they keep YBF after TAG)

Slow Train Through Africa is in the wrong slot, why am I not surprised. Sunday at 8pm would be a much better fit. Just like Bar Grylls it'll be below 4m.

I suspect they're doubling up for the first week only and then pairing with YBF from the 11th April onwards. I think if BGT starts from the 11th April then Saturday should go like this:

7.30pm Britain's Got Talent.
