Amazing for Only Connect.
I think word of Victoria Coren's fantabulous assets must be getting round. Even the missus expresses astonishment every time I make her watch the show... ![]()

Christmas Special #1 2011 - 26th December 2011: 08.20m
Christmas Special #1 2012 - 24th December 2012: 11.69m Christmas Special #2 2012 - 26th December 2012: 10.72m Christmas Special #1 2013 - 25th December 2013: 11.52m Christmas Special #2 2013 - 30th December 2013: 11.27m Christmas Special #1 2014 - 25th December 2014: 09.51m Christmas Special #2 2014 - 01st January 2015: ?????? Mrs Browns Christmas Special 2014 was it lowest rated special since its first in 2011. Alternatively if you include the quick repeat and iplayer requests, this year's got 15.9m. Times, they are a'changing.... |

iPlayer requests are useless though Robbie, because they aren't averages and we don't know how many are unique. You stick it on for 30 seconds, realise it's not the programme you wanted and bingo that's a request.
15.9m? Dream on mate. |

Only Connect did very well. Quote:
At least it reminded me of Light Lunch so that was nice, and it inspired me to watch a few episodes on YouTube. It was great fun at the time and it did seem really different to everything else on the telly. Kudos to ITV for doing this show now, and it emphasises how little effort C4 are putting into making daytime distinctive, it probably has the dullest daytime schedule of all the channels.
It was a great period, that, when Light Lunch finished you had Wogan's Web for a few weeks. Heaven knows how today's students cope, no grants, no jobs at the end of it and nothing on the telly during the day. ![]() Light Lunch was brilliant. At the time it was a bit quirky and out there, but worth watching. |

Jonathan Ross, Paul O'Grady and CBB's Michelle Visage for RuPaul's Drag Race UK?
http://attitude.co.uk/ruapauls-drag-...ter-this-year/ Is Ross not on a golden handcuffs deal with ITV then?

It's highest rating before was a the finale with 10.47m including +1. So this is bigger. Sherlock sized timeshifts.

We would need confirmation from ronant but if that's excluding ITV Player then that's a superb timeshift. |

His ITV contract is non exclusive but TBH his BBC contract was non exclusive as well since he did the BCA when it was on ITV and Big Fat Quiz for Channel 4. I think he was developing RuPaul's Drag Race for ITV but I wonder if Channel 5 due to their Viacom connections as Logo in the US is owned by Viacom, have taken over development. Getting Ross and Paul O'Grady would be quite big signings for them.
Not sure about the format as I haven't seen any of the US version. But in terms of talent involved if this all gets confirmed then obviously a big commission for C5. I guess Viacom will see it as something that can be played on their channels around the world as well, particularly given Visage has been linked to it. |

The One Show - aimiable fluff 4.66m Broadchurch - greatest drama in history of TV 5.57m Pointless - teatime quiz 4.37m Inside Out - regional 'strand' 4.17m All much of a muchness for the Monday night mid-rankers.... ![]() |
