Ok what is the point of this Now You See It crap. It's just silly and should not be being used as any lead in let alone for The Voice.

If this Now You See It programme isn't pulled from the 6.30pm slot sharpish I'll eat my hat. Once again it'll be Pointless Celebrities to the rescue no doubt.

It's not even in HD, who do the programme makers think they are, the people behind You've Been Framed!!!

It's a shame Mel Giedroyc is dragging her name through the gutter by means of association with this, it's her equivalent of Sue forever being recorded in the history books as narrator of 'Don't Scare The Hare'.

I watch a lot of Soccer Saturday and Charlie has always come across as fair. He said they both look the same to me. They both look similar to me too. It's not on the level of what Frank McLintock said on a Sky Sports phone in.

Lots of misery, then. I'll be sure to set the Sky+...

I agree why not just put Pointless on instead of this rubbish. Even Reflex was better then this and that was pulled.

It could be worse. As mentioned earlier ITV has an hour long compilation of "hilarious moments" from All Star Family Fortunes in peak time tomorrow night, to round off a pretty crappy week away from the Monday night beast that is Broadchurch.

ronant - sorry to jump on you but could you assist with these please?

Quote:
“Can anyone help me with these overnight ratings? I need +1-included figures and shares please.

- Downton Abbey (r), ITV, 16:15 on Boxing Day [ronant gave 1.72m but I need the share please]
- Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., C4, 19:05 on Boxing Day [exc +1: 0.58m/2.6%]
- Homeland, C4, 21:00 on Sun 28th [exc +1: 1.31m/5.7%]

Many thanks”

Well even that sounds like it could be funnier than this. Notice in credits it had three executive producers!

Cleverly placed advert for Backchat there, ahead of BBC One's main (or maybe only?) youth-skewing show of the month.

Now You See It won't keep its slot. Put money on that!

And still Backchat doesn't do that well. Russell Howard's Good News on the other hand has been successfully relocated to BBC2 from BBC3.

What have they done to Stars in Their Eyes?

I seem to remember Steve Williams thinking it's would be overly silly due to Harry Hill being the presenter. He's absolutely right about that one.

It's pretty much a given that any BBC1 commission for around 6pm on Saturdays is going to be a big old flop:
Hole in the Wall
Richard Hammond's Secret Service
Reflex
Don't Scare the Hare
That Puppet Game Show
Animal Antics
Now You See It

Hole in the Wall probably the best of that lot.

The clip of Stars In Their Eyes on Lorraine showed to me that it would be everything I feared with Harry Hill in charge.

Stars In Their Eyes not working for me at all.

Bring back TV Burp, this format doesn't suit Harry.

It's a shame Total Wipeout was mishandled by the end and axed. Was a fun show in that slot.

Stars in Their Eyes is going to be VERY divisive.

The whole thing is basically a comedy show and it has been pretty funny so far. It is however nothing like the original and people wanting a straight up replica of the original won't be happy with it.

I think it could potentially work as it is funny, but some people (for whatever reason) seem to take the original quite seriously and this is not going to be for them.

How did last Friday's The Musketeers and Benidorm do Ronant?

What were people really expecting from stars in their eyes if not this? It's Harry Hill!

It most definitely is. And virtually everyone seems to be saying the same thing on social media.

I wouldn't have dreamed of comedy being added to a format like SITE anyway, not sure it ever could have worked.

But when the material is as painfully unfunny as is the case here, it had no chance. Harry is better than this.
