The thing is they could yank SITE out of the schedules but what the hell do they replace it with? They can't fill up the schedule as it is, resorting to showing Bridget Jones Diary again last night. I can't think of anything appropriate, they can't show Harry Potter again.

Thanks ronant. Frankly that share for ITV is deserved after what is such a poorly planned schedule. Another rpt of Bridget Jones Diary for pity sake. They seriously can't be happy with that? But perhaps they are, since they put the schedule together.

Why would you keep PGT when it's a failure? It was a failure before it was even shown - another easy for us to see flop.

Commanding performance for TVUK there we had posts last night of nothing to watch on TV well eight and a half million didn't go down the pub then! TVUK surely showing it's the No1 singing talent show on TV. XF has lost its crown.

Wow for the Voice that's a fantastic rating up on last years equivalent episode and that had Kyle. Plus a big ouch for SITE that's an appalling figure.

it did not really have much competitor though it should really be getting higher viewers.

Were we surprised about that Stars In Their Eyes rating?

It would be interesting to see when/if ITV went lower than a 8.2% all day share. They've been just over 10% a few times at weekends, but I can't ever remember it being that low.

Edit: I think it's the lowest since 2nd August 2014 - 7.5%.

I didn't watch anything live on tv last night. Shocking schedule. Did watch Casualty recording later on after films. Mind you that is becoming more if a chore than a pleasure. Keep hoping it will improve. Gave up on Holby a few years ago.

Agreed and no one should be surprised Stars and Harry in their eyes or SHITE for short lives up to its acronym

I saw some of Stars on catch up, I watched the last 3 performers Frankie Valli, Mark Owen & Mikey Cyrus - one was good two were average....Harry Hill has always been niche viewing from BBC2 Fruit Fancies to his C4 late night tv show. TV Burp brought him a broader audience - but it seems people preferred the clips....Personally I like his silliness, but Stars is something that has not worked, a decade ago it might have had a chance.

So SITE is officially worse than Tumble. Not many would have predicted that.

The SITE revival is woefully misconceived. It's always been a naff, cheesy show but it the producers of the original incarnation had the sense to play it straight and focus on the contestants. I like Harry Hill and think he's great as a voiceover on You've Been Framed, but he's too dominant on SITE.

I would definitely do that at this stage, there's nothing else in the can after all. Maybe Beowulf next year can turn it all around. As The Voice shows, one big rater can boost others around it even if they're terrible.

Although it has held up pretty well against Takeaway as well. People , including me always seem to underestimate it.

Totally agree with Robbie Sykes comment on the default audience. Nowadays with catch up TV, Now, box sets etc etc TV programmes are a success on their merits. This stage of The Voice is great and it never feels like a 90 minute show.

They should use the chairs again rather than battle rounds and somehow turn for their top 3 and then straight in to quarters, semi and final.

However as they have been promises of a final they will have to do one. I think two further episodes have been made anyway and then there is only one more and the final to make. Maybe it will move to the afternoon.

Cant explain NYSI audience as I dont see anything in the show but if it stays around that level it would be comfortably in the top 10 entertainment shows
Other than that very solid and nobody has mentioned the new lottery quiz doing pretty well even with Shane Ritchie

I think with TV Burp it's that it was Harry's own thing. It was a unique format with him at the helm, and the jokes were references to the shows that featured that week.

With SITE they've put him into an already established format and tried to add the humour element which doesn't work. Not only because Harry's brand of humour is more niche that usual comedy (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) but because the jokes have no real reference to what is going on in the show that night.

I still don't get the Adele/Baby skit

The battle round is always the point where I switch off. The show just descends into a shouting match and it's just a shambles.

Planet's Got Talent is rating low but I doubt ITV expected much more for it.
