From watching the first 10 mins of Totally Saturday, the ratings deserve to be sub 2m.

I've watched 15 minute of Totally Saturday and it's a total car crash!!!

You hung around that long - I turned off after the opening titles.

Trouble is the BBC1 audience will usually watch any old crap on a Saturday night, and Primeval isn't likely to be competing for the same audience. If ITV had put Mr & Mrs on against it, I think many more would have switched to that.

The fact less than 3m tuned in to see the first ever day of the ''housemates'' settling in is quite concerning for CH4 and I can't see it doing that well tonight & tomorrow.

A little higher than expected for Doc Martin, but embarassing for ITV that the only 9pm slot to clear 4m is with a repeat, but ITV should be pleased that they have a solid 4m for the next 6 Fridays which in 2 weeks time should start winning its slot comfortably.

Quite low shares for ITV's soaps inparticular I think and EE tops the day again with a strong 8m which is quite surprising.

Poor for Coronation Street share wise as well as viewer wise in the 8.30pm slot. 7.30pm was ok with it's share. EastEnders did well. Emmerdale will just be wishing for the summer to be over!

Big Brother was very low though non eviction Friday's do seem to suffer along with the Saturday episodes. I think Monday will be the key indicator for how this series will fair, after the twist has played out.

Disappiting also with The Apprentice: Why I Fired Them, but then he has explained it all before! I wonder whether there's a The Cabinet: Why I Resigned in the offing now SAS is on board?

9pm was pretty uninspiring all round, though Have I Got News performed well. I don't like the fact they mucked it about with the timings for one week only. Maybe Why I Fired Them was meant to air on Sunday before BBC1 realised the final would clash with the football?

Doc Martin did ok with a repeat, but as ZoeMcAllister said, not a good recommendation for ITV that their one 4m+ show this week had been show before!

The first highlights show is always seen as dull and boring as it only goes from approximately from when they entered at 9pm to about six hours later @ 2am... doesn't cover a lot of time; besides they did actually show bits that were originially shown on Friday.

Hoping for (at least) over 3 million tonight, although it depends on how hard Mumbai Calling and MMCR flop.

Thanks sonny. Awful for Mumbai Calling. Only Primeval did ok for ITV1.

Good start for Michael McIntyre's show. The BBC are back doing well on Saturday nights now, post-BGT.

Do you know how BB held up on C4 and C4+1? I would imagine under 3m.

Thanks sonny-nothing too surprising there.

A little higher than expected for both Funniest Things and Robin Hood, especially considering Robin Hood's recent ratings & the fact Funniest Things was a repeat.

Quite disapointing for the Primeval finale, though I would think a recomission is secure and ITV will probably air it in the January-March block though along with Harry Hill where it can secure 5m+.

Totally Saturday seems to have captured the Tonights The Night audience quite nicely and should provide a solid 4m for the next few weeks.

I think the biggest surprise is how high Michael McIntryre is. For a stand up comedy show in primetime Saturday night 5m is very good, but it benefited from the predicted flop of Mumbai Calling.

An interesting stat.

Based on the 21:30 to 22:00 slot. Last night only 21 million were watching TV between 21:30 and 22:00 despite very poor weather. Last week sun was glorious the weather was nice, and between 21:30 and 22:00... um, about 26 million were watching TV.

Maybe this country hates the sunshine and loves the rain? (of course we know the real reason... but still)

And BTW, DS has a soaps ratings report for Friday, which confirms what we already know. Poor for Emmerdale then.

Mr and Mrs was doing really well against Robin Hood but I suppose Casualty will take more of its audience. Perhaps next year ITV could try Mr and Mrs after BGT as last week a lot of people stuck round for it, and ITV do struggle after BGT finishes. I think it shows that BGT was meaning people were sticking with ITV all Saturday starting from early evening no its gone BBC1 has regained default status.

Am very pleased about robin Hood getting 4m but still feel it should be on after Totally Sh*t especially now Primeval has finished.

What are the ratings for BB last night?
This years series is actually quite interesting. After the first ep i was dubious, but they seem to be an interesting bunch! I'm reserving judgement until i have seen more!!

Primevals ratings may have been dented due to the fact that the final episode was all over the t*rrent sites this past week and also the complete series 3 dvd was out last week, so many fans annoyed by it's pre-emption due to BGT final may have looked elsewhere (like me).

It wanted to be like Noel's House Party or Saturday Night Takeaway but just isn't.

The high ratings for Totally Saturday reveal quite a lot about the typical BBC1 audience.

I have a theory that watching too much TV has lobotimized the BBC viewers via tv-tube radiation.

The BBC could save a fortune, just provide a blank screen with a laugh track playing in the background. It would get 4m+ at least.

It's disapointing that such a rubbish programme got such a strong rating. If Totally Saturday was on any other channel there is no way it would have got anywhere near 4.3m

Could this be the ratings that saves Robin Hood? Next spring Dr Who will be on so if there is a fourth series of RH it would probably be on in the Autumn (unless they put it on in the Summer), thus (possibly) increasing its ratings.

Great performance by MMCR, but next week's will be the important audience. After all 5.5m watched the first episode of Mumbai but look at it this week.

Probably as many people at home at 9.30 last night as last Saturday, only more people would have been watching DVDs or surfing the net.

Back in the 1970's, when ITV had an all-out strike it was estimated that about 1m will watching the blank screen every night. Of course that was in the days when there were only 3 channels, but still - ITV1 should try that. A blank screen reading "The next programme follows at 8.00" with commercials breaks every 15 minutes. I bet it would do as well as some of the factual programmes they show and for a fraction of the cost.

Looks as though the weather didn't boost anything, with only Primeval and Athletes doing reasonably for ITV, although BBC1 did OK throughout. Primeval suffered from the week off, the DVD being out all week, and it being all over torrent sites for even longer. It would have got 4.6-4.7m if ITV had delayed the DVD, and aired it before it was leaked, and would have done better than Mr and Mrs did last week in the BGT sandwich.

Mr and Mrs did much worse than I expected, although its better than what Who Dares Sings was getting last Summer. Millionaire will probably get a similar rating to what Primeval got last night, but it may boost Mr and Mrs more, as the audience will have a larger cross over.

Comedy Roadshow did very well, which is good to see, but dreadful for Mumbai Calling. Totally Saturday did OK, and Robin Hood rebounded.
