Hope Springs might have debuted with 6m+ had it aired sometime between September and March. Can't see it getting more than 4.5m tonight, but it was pretty watchable stuff and deserves a decent figure.

I don't see The Apprentice averaging more than 10m with the change of night and Kingdom offering more competition than, say, Teenage Fat Camp or The Bill. I will say 10m dead, a peak of 11m in the last 10 mins.

You're Hired (despite being a very entertaining hour - and a 'dress moment' by Yasmina to rival Holly W's legendary appearance on Dancing on Ice ) will see quite a drop off - it will start with 11m but probably average 6m.

The Apprentice was listed as a one two-hour show on my EPG so presumably BARB will be counting it as one show as well?

The Apprentice final should easily exceed 10m IMO. This new government role for Sir Alan has created plenty of wonderful free publicity amid all the speculation over whether he can continue on the show next year now.

I listened to dribs and drabs of Radio 1 yesterday and it was all over the airwaves too. Not the government stuff obviously, but building up to the final.

I agree. It was nothing spectacular but it was a solid comedy drama and deserves to do well. I didn't go into it expecting much when I saw Shed would be making it but I will be watching next week. It seems a bit like a mixture of Bad Girls and Footballers Wives only less ridiculous. They were capable of managing good figures at one time so I'm hoping HS did well last night.

I don't know how BARB will report the Apprentice figures. The big EastEnders wedding eppy in April was counted as 2 episodes for some reason despite there being no halfway break.

Do most people who watch BB usually watch live feed? I think the BB forum is just a particular type of fan and not your average viewer who will dip in and out of it. The BB forum is actually quite scary and full of threads with people saying they don't enjoy it as there is no live feed. I put a thread up yesterday saying how I was enjoying this series after a disappointing looking opening night and the first reply I got was telling me I was daft and there was nothing enjoyable about this series and I need to show more evidence

I really enjoyed, I don't know how much it is suited to Sunday Nights, I think they could easily have put it on at 9pm any night. Also the fact that this series is going out in the Summer would suggest its ratings will be poor so I really don't know what it'll get. Possibly just above 5m would be decent.

Unfortunately I can see Hope Springs being more in the 4 million bracket which is solid but unspectacular for BBC1. I hope I'm wrong because the first episode was enjoyable. It deserves to at least be in the 5 million bracket.

Not as high as I was expecting for the Apprentice, but then it was moved.

I was expecting around that figure for The Apprentice - the series concludes with a bang and I have a feeling that when/if it returns next year, the ratings for the show will increase further.

Hope Springs also debuted well. Overall, a great night for BBC1 and I thought Kingdom held up extremely well, considering its competition.

Poor for BB but I'm not surprised.

Brilliant for the Apprentice and Hope Springs.

I think the Apprentice has peaked tbh it only ever seems to have minimum rises in popularity.

In comparison to other shows in its genre it does amazingly well considering you actually have to follow what's going on properly because there's more going on than other reality series offer. That's what stops it growing any further imo.

Better than I thought for Hope Springs. I was expecting around 4m. Drama is a genre that's becoming quite hard to predict what will do well.

Fantastic Figures for The Apprentice Final.

Nearly 10m is such an acheivement when only 2years ago it's final had 3 million less.

A Fantastic Peak of 10.6m also. It was the best final I have ever seen. Kate and Yazmina were both very strong and Yazmina deserved it.

Hope Springs was an excellent sunday night drama to watch and i hope that it's good ratings continue.

Kingdom held up very well against BBC'1 Juggernaut but Big Brother's ratings are laughable.

Did you watch your hired or turn over for BB? I was gonna do the latter but since they aired as one, I watched your hired and I'm glad I did. Very funny and a nice goodbye to Margaret.

I notice The Apprentice has a credits sequence on iplayer. So the BBC must want them counted seperately.

Not as high for The Apprentice as I thought - good rating for Kingdom all considering; it should break the 5 million barrier next week. Very good rating for Hope Springs also, I guess a Countryfile lead in and The Apprentice lead-out helped it.

ITV's All Day Share isn't the worst, it's worst was last June when the Doctor Who series finale was on. Piss poor share though, and I guess, based on Stephen Tompkinson's African Balloon Adventure's rating, Heartbeat maybe in the low 3m's?

Hope Springs did a lot better than I thought.

The Apprentice actually wasn't as high as I was expecting and I imagine the day change probably was a factor in it not averaging over 10 million. Still very good ratings.

Big Brother didn't deserve that figure for last night's shambles.

Good for The Apprentice, should top 10m in the officials.

Oh dear. Can't believe that's still going - I've not watched it at all since it moved to Sundays at 8pm, and that's a few years back now.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if Coach Trip and Come Dine with Me outrate Big Brother some nights over the next few weeks. How has Coach Trip been doing by the way?

Fabulous numbers for The Apprentice. It will average comfortably over 10 million in the officials, so the BBC will be very happy, I think. The day change, and stiff competition in the shape of Kingdom probably held it down a tad. Superb ratings for You're Hired too - it worked very well following straight on after the final. Something they couldn't have done in the Wednesday slot, I don't think.

Great start for Hope Springs there too. I wasn't exepecting it to debut with over 6 million at this time of the year. The reaction in the Hope Springs thread was decent, so the BBC will be hoping they have a 5-6 million banker established in that 8pm drama slot they've been targetting.

To employ an overused phrase on this thread, I think ITV1 "held up well" given the circumstances. Heartbeat did about the same at 7 as it did at 8, and as I said, Kingdom was very solid. I'm sure it'll rise next week.

On the other hand, terrible stuff for Big Brother. Difficult to judge given the strange timeslot, but 1.9m can't be a good figure. I think its now a question of "How low can this series go?!"

Sunday night is probably the most watch night of TV during the week (or a close second to Monday) so it is not so surprising that Kingdom got 5m viewers when on Wednesdays nothing but the football could get that against the Apprentice. Perhaps ITV should look at keeping Dramas on Sundays but with Heartbeat an The Royal finishing next year look at putting on established dramas and make 9pm on Sunday Crime night, allowing for programmes such as Murder Mysteries, Taggart etc. Then leave monday for the thrillers and have Bill on a Tuesday giving them a strong 3 days worth of drama.

Hope Springs did really well and should get above 5m for the rest of its run. That gives them another solid hit for the Summer along with presumably New Tricks and WDYTYA
