Agreed. It looks much better than a lot of the crap that ITV have churned out on some of their recent Tuesdays and Thursdays. Oh, I do wonder what the schedulers at ITV are doing sometimes

A considerable drop... and I expect it to decrease further next week with no DOI lead in.”
Lewis' figure for last night is lower than I expected, even taking into account that it was not shown in Scotland. I thought it would have been able to get around 7-8m viewers, considering it had a massive inheritance and has regulaly pulled in 7.5m+ figures in the past couple of years. It's still a good rating, though. I disagree with D.M.N.- I think it'll keep those kind of ratings, perhaps even rise next week as it moves into a more viewer-friendly 8-10pm slot.

Yeah, a top quality show getting a top quality rating for BBC2 - nice to see

Quite a poor rating for Chris Moyles. There weren't exactly many shows on TV at that time last night which would have dragged away their target younger demo audience. Back to the radio for Chris I think

Poor day for BBC1. Has ITV1 even dropped that low in the All-Hours shares this year? The few hours of repeats at primetime was a no-go area for many viewers, along with obviously very tough opposition from ITV1.

Yeah, quite a strong rating for DOI, although I did think it would rate above the 11m threshold. But I didn't think it would beat last year's finale rating of 11.7m because this year's was so predictable, with that little cretin Ray Quinn practically guaranteed to win it since week 1

I think whoever replaced Angus would have got criticised because there are hardly any good, talented presenters around these days unfortunately

Thanks. That's the slot I thought was the most likely for the Bill's new time. It's a slot that all of the terrestrial channels have sturggled in recent months, so perhaps ITV can get some domination back for that hour.
