I don't think he was intending to come across as racist, it was just very poor taste. Alexander handled that really well, others might have flown off the handle and claimed racism, good on him.

Correct. It wasn't racist at all by intent, but it was inappropriate. A nuanced reaction is wise, here.

I despair i really do. Negro is a word to describe someone of Black ancestry. Caucasian is a word to describe someone of White ancestry.
