New Moto is 3G only?
Hi. A quick question about the Moto G. Am I right in thinking that the latest version of the Moto G is only 3g?
If so do they plan to release a 4g version? |

Yes the 2014 Moto G with 5" screen is 3G only with dual SIM, although a single sim version is available, it's the dual SIM model sold in the UK mostly.
Rumours suggest a 4G model coming out sometime in near future....hopefully with dual SIM |

Nonsense, there's been a 4G Moto G available since June last year in the U.K:

I think a lot of people like the idea of the new 4g version of this latest update of the moto g.
Shame its taking so long to get an official announcement its coming. |

I wonder if the new 4G version will be single sim again for the UK market?
The dual SIM hasn't been a popular phone with the networks, not sure if any of them put the 2014 dual sim out on contract, whereas the 2013 3G model has been. Maybe Lenovo/Motorola aren't too worried about sales via networks and just aim for sim free sales via other outlets. |

Maybe the new one isn't far off, Tesco have a 'Hurry while stocks last' on their website.
That Brazilian leak has got to be a different version to the Euro one. Roll on the Mobile World Congress 2015, 2-5 March 2015, Barcelona, Spain. |

It must be said that Motorola just seemed to be courting confusion by not giving the second generation Moto G a more distinctive model name - e.g. Moto G2 would have worked fine.
