Katie now a 3/1 favourite to win the show. Quite a swing when you consider she was a 25/1 outsider when she entered.

Nadia's odds have risen after her recent controlling and busybody behaviour. She is now 6/1. Her odds have doubled in a couple of days. She's always a threat though with the Loose Woman Mafia behind her.

I'm still backing Hopkins for the win. I think she has this in the bag. Cheggers could push her close though.

Early doors, Cheggers could be the winner this year, he's a nice safe chap.

I think the days of the nice and safe winner have been and gone. The public want to see more now. They want Controversial and entertaining housemates. Look at the last three winners -- Jim Davidson, Helen Wood, Gary Busey.

Early days. A lot can happen in 24 hours as we have seen.

With previous winners such as Davidson, Wood and Busey, I am surprised it took this long.

Unfortunately its far too early.
And I don't think she will win.
I would rather this be happening in the final week, as I want her to win.

Clearly justified in many cases. And as far as I'm concerned that's the only way Hopkins can win this show. It's one thing receiving enough votes to stay in, and another to get the majority votes as the winner. But as said it's still very early doors so I expect plenty of fluctuation as the markets react/overreact to the happenings in the forthcoming HL's shows. Visage's odds have been steadily shortening over the past few days as well. Hypothetically speaking, if it came to a straight shoot-out between her or the vile being who thinks it's funny to mock disasters and personal tragedies,, I'm pretty sure who the public would get behind...

Katie will expose herself as a regular normal opinionated person, nothing wrong with that.she just likes tin play up to Her pants image , it's all nonsense when she was on IACGMOH no one noticed that she was there , and most people on this forum will not have remembered her on it

I am liking Katie, so far, AS A HOUSEMATE but it is far too early to speculate who is going to win. I think Michelle stands a good chance as do Keith and Nadia but time will tell.

Obviously anyone of them could completely drop it in the space of an episode, but I think Keith, Katie, Michelle, Calum and maybe Nadia could easily win. Nadia will have to stop slowly creeping down the Linda Nolan route and focusing on her hate for Katie though.

I really think Michele could dark horse this. Thoroughly lovely woman but she takes no shit, Britain seems to be really taking to her <3

Exactly. I like how she's coming across, because she's probably the most human person in there along with Michelle, Keith and Nadia (although I like her less). Maybe that's more "boring" to some than being a screeching attention magnet like Perez, but it like that Katie is normal and flawed. She's relatable. I do hope more of her controversial side comes out soon, to be fair once we're rid of ken and Perez (if we are soon :/) then hopefully the better characters have a chance to shine.

I think a lot of people are agreeing with some of her opinions now that she has explained them more and went into more detail than "fat people are lazy".

I did & thats when I became a fan. She really is quite nice and normal.

When Big Bro told her she does not need to do a nice act any more she was extatic, then rejoined the house & was really nice LOL.

Katie has opinions ( which she is paid to air ) that are often controversial, but do echo what many people think but are just too polite to say. And because she is so controversial with her opinions ( that many agree with) many voice opposition to her whilst secretly nodding their heads.

UKIP are gaining in popularity too. Ugly, reactionary, rabble-rousing, factually incorrect pish, dressed up as "PC busting" and "only saying what everyone was thinking." Nice times at the moment.

Nice enough person but I don't think that's enough. You need to offer more to win the show.

I know absolutely nothing of Katie. I never read anything she wrote and have never seen her on TV. I know only that she has a reputation for acerbic commentary and controversial opinions.

So far I find her quite pleasant. Maybe, and as this forum is so fond of declaring, she hasn't shown her true colours yet or maybe she has pulled all the Tesco shifts.

. But so far all I am seeing is a quiet, well mannered woman who seems fairly humble and appears to have palled up with possibly the meekest person in the house.

So far she seems to be keeping her head down and is giving me nothing to dislike.
